Kyle Walker will start Manchester City in their Premier League match against Newcastle, just days after splitting from wife Annie Kilner.
MailOnline revealed on Thursday that the 33-year-old Manchester City star has fathered a second child with Lauryn Goodman, the latest blow to his marriage which has been marred by cheating allegations.
His wife Kilner, 30, announced on Sunday that the couple, who have been together for 13 years and share three children, are splitting up.
She said she would “take some time away from Kyle” in light of his alleged infidelity.
A report in the Sun claimed Walker, the City captain, is ‘struggling’ after the split.

However, he will hope that tonight’s match with Newcastle will be a welcome distraction as Pep Guardiola’s side look to move within two points of Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Walker, who has been evicted from the £2.4million marital home, has spoken out on Instagram in support of his Annie, describing his wife as an ‘amazing woman.’
In a message posted to his 4.6 million followers on Friday, Walker wrote: ‘Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologize for the upset I have caused her.
“She has been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children.
“I would ask for privacy for our entire family, and especially our young children, as we work through these difficult times.”
Walker fathering reality star Goodman’s second child, her five-month-old daughter, known only as KW, is the latest in a long line of misdeeds from the England ace.
Although the revelation did not lead to the divorce, as Kilner had known for some time that the baby was Walker’s, the culmination of the crimes simply took its toll and his wife now needs some time away from the relationship.
Walker, who also shares a three-year-old son, Kairo, with Goodman after they struck up a brief romance during his temporary separation from his wife in 2019, is no longer in contact with the reality star, who is no longer…so subtly hinting that he is the father from her daughter since Annie’s divorce announcement.
Kilner announced via her Instagram account that she was splitting up with Walker after 13 years.
The couple, who met in their home city of Sheffield, share three children, Riaan, Roman and Reign.
Her Instagram post read: “Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together, I have decided to take some time off from Kyle.
‘I don’t want to comment further on the situation. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and my three young children be respected during this difficult time.”
It comes after MailOnline revealed friends of Kilner and Walker believe the WAG could be pregnant with the couple’s fourth child.
Sources close to the estranged couple have said they will be “thrilled” if she is.
Meanwhile, someone suggested that Kilner might be just two months away from giving birth.
When contacted last night, Kilner’s representative said an announcement would be forthcoming.
Walker and Kilner’s relationship was marred by allegations surrounding the England star’s infidelity, but his partner always wanted to take him back.
There were claims he held a lockdown sex party with escorts and shared texts with a Playboy model while on international duty.
Eight years ago, Facebook also vehemently denied being in any way linked to an explicit and sickening video involving a woman.
After Walker was caught on CCTV at a bar last year apparently showing friends fondling a mysterious blonde woman’s breasts, his wife posted on social media: ‘No matter how good you are to people, they won’t be good to you to make. ‘
Walker’s off-field scandals don’t seem to affect his life on the field.
He won the Treble with Manchester City last season and was named club captain by manager Pep Guardiola following the departure of former captain Ilkay Gundogan.
Last month, Walker lifted the FIFA World Club Cup trophy after leading the team to a 4-0 win over Brazilian side Fluminense in Saudi Arabia.
The victory made City the first team to hold the Premier League, FA Cup, Champion League and Wolds Club Cup trophies simultaneously.
Walker also remains a key player in Gareth Southgate’s England side, where he collected 81 caps and scored his first Three Lions goal against Ukraine in September.
