Kyle Sandilands wedding: PM Anthony Albanese holds shock jock’s baby Otto at Darling Point ceremony
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been labeled ‘the baby whisperer’ by his girlfriend Jodie Haydon after he shared a belly laugh with Kyle Sandilands’ son, Otto.
Beaming from ear to ear, Mr. Albanese held Mr. Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston’s first child after the ceremony, and baby Otto seemed to love it.
Mrs. Haydon referred to her PM partner as “the baby whisperer,” prompting Mrs. Kynaston to jokingly ask him, “Are you free to babysit Wednesday night?”

“I’m in London, so drop him by,” the prime minister replied wittily before telling Mr Sandilands to “have a nice day.” The Daily Telegraph reported.

In other photos, Mr. Albanese appeared to eschew his regular beer for more exotic drinks, pictured with an empty martini glass on one stage and a half-full glass in another, while others sipped from stumps.
He relaxed in the company of the wedding party’s guests after being widely criticized for taking the day off to attend the lavish wedding.
The radio shock jock jumped to the prime minister’s defense on Saturday morning, saying he was shocked by the backlash.
‘I wasn’t expecting it… My mum says – ‘oh I saw on the news this morning that the opposition had a problem with poor old Albanians coming to the wedding’… and she says ‘why would they say something so horrible ?’ said Mr Sandilands.
“The guy can definitely go to an in-person event if he wants to, it’s not a 24/7 thing, if something needed him he would have to leave – and mom was all out of shape.
“And I was like ‘don’t worry, everyone always kills everyone else’, they’ll always say something.”

Kyle Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston wed on Saturday in a highly anticipated wedding reportedly costing more than $1 million and taking place at the lavish Swifts mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point
In an interview between Sandilands and Albanese earlier this week, the radio host said the prime minister’s job was to keep his mother company.
“She’s a fan of yours so she’s going to freak out,” Mr Sandilands said on live broadcast.
This criticism of Mr Albanians came mainly from liberal politicians, ABC and gossip columnist Andrew Hornery, who has never hidden his distaste for Mr Sandilands.
Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley said it was unfortunate that he was “playing cards at a million-dollar wedding when people can’t pay their rent.”
“There’s nothing wrong with going to a friend’s wedding, but it’s curious that the Prime Minister thinks he can take a day off a few days before his first proper budget,” she said.
The test of that budget will be whether (Mr) gives Albanian Australians a start date for the $275 cut in energy prices, a start date for the cheaper mortgages Labor promised and a start date for real wage increases.
“It’s hard to see how the Prime Minister can justify being there tomorrow when there’s still no response to those promises.”

The Prime Minister also had to quash rumors that he would be allowed to DJ after joking last year that DJ Albo would come out if the radio king coughed up an invitation, but when asked last week if he would DJ, replied he simply said ‘No’.
Many questioned Mr Albanese’s appearance as he would mingle with guests such as Sandilands’ main groomsmen and convicted drug trafficker Simon Main.
Mr. Main, who once worked as Liza Minnelli’s assistant, was imprisoned in Italy in 2000 for his role in selling 333,000 ecstasy pills worth $10 million.
Sandilands was questioned about his main groomsman in the run-up to his wedding and gave a blunt answer to Daily Mail Australia.
“These are my friends,” he said. “My buddy did something stupid 25 years ago. What, should he be sentenced for the rest of his life?
‘[Main] is ashamed of me and I said, ‘I don’t care.’ My friends are my friends and they are the most honest, solid people I’ve ever met,” he added.
“I’ve met a lot of people in my life who promised this and that, and then turned into complete charlatans.
“These guys are true men of their word and that’s why they’re my lifelong friends.”

The highly anticipated wedding reportedly cost more than $1 million and took place at the extravagant Swifts mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point.
Mr. Albanese was questioned about his attendance ahead of the wedding extravaganza, which also saw King of the Cross John Ibrahim attend the celebrations.
When asked if he approved of convicted drug smuggler Simon Main being present, he said he simply wasn’t “in charge of the guest list.”
