Kyle Sandilands takes a brutal swipe at Ben Fordham live on-air as his KIIS FM show with Jackie ‘O’ Henderson beats 2GB and wins the year’s radio ratings: ‘It’s like having sex with someone and they die’

Kyle Sandilands took a brutal swipe at fellow radio rival Ben Fordham on Thursday morning after the KIIS FM show claimed victory for this year’s radio ratings.

The radio shock jock, 52, boasted victory over the Kyle and Jackie O Show, which has now been the number one breakfast show ahead of Fordham’s 2GB show five out of seven times in the 2023 surveys.

The duo remains the most listened to show in the country, while KIIS 1065 is now also Australia’s most listened to station.

Sandilands didn’t hesitate to make a savage remark towards hosts Fordham, who retained their spot in second place by the narrowest of margins, recording a 16.2 per cent share, compared to Kyle and Jackie O’s 16.3 per cent.

“If you want to know what happened to Ben Fordham, he’s among us,” he said on the show Thursday.

‘It’s like having sex with someone and he or she dies. That’s Ben. Ben is the dead person.”

Sandilands commended its staff and crew for their incredibly hard work this year.

‘Once again I would like to thank you all for our own employees. We maintain the number one overall position as the biggest and most listened to radio show in the history of Australian radio,” he announced.

As his colleagues cheered and applauded from the studio, Sandilands continued: “Calm down now. So the biggest most listened to program ever in the entire history of radio, that’s us.
