Kyle Sandilands’ stepmother is rushed to hospital with kidneys and lungs after attending his wedding to Tegan Kynaston: ‘She can’t use her legs anymore’
Kyle Sandilands’ stepmother, Dianne, has been rushed to hospital just days after attending the radio host’s wedding to Tegan Kynaston.
Sandilands shared the alarming news live The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday, revealing that Dianne’s lungs, kidneys and legs are “not working.”
“My father’s wife is in ICU in Queensland,” the 51-year-old told his co-host Jackie “O” Henderson at the start of the broadcast.
Despite her ill health, Dianne had traveled from her hometown of Brisbane on Saturday to be a guest at her stepson’s wedding in Sydney.
“She was never going to miss that wedding,” Sandilands said, before adding that Dianne “went straight to ICU” upon her return to Queensland.

“Apparently her lungs aren’t working, kidneys aren’t working, she can’t use her legs anymore. Yes, she’s struggling,” he added.
Henderson replied, “Oh, God. I hope she’s okay.’
Sandilands tried to lighten the mood by saying, “She’ll be right, she’ll be right.”
“I like to put a good spin on things. Don’t indulge in the worst possible things,’ he added.
