Kyle Sandilands shocks as he reveals what he really wanted to be growing up…and it wasn’t a radio host

And he had no plans to become a radio host.
The multi-millionaire shock jock, now believed to be worth around $100 million, revealed he wanted to be the “voice” of iconic Aussie puppet Agro, famous co-host of TV’s Cartoon Connection in the 1990s .
“Listen, as a kid I never wanted to be a radio host,” Kyle explained.
‘I wanted to be the new voice of Agro, that was my goal.’

Kyle’s admission left his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson unimpressed.
“It’s funny what our goals are when we’re kids, isn’t it?” Kyle’s 48-year-old co-star said.
Later in the segment, Kyle recalled his meeting last year with Agro’s puppeteer, Jamie Dunn, who provided the voice of the beloved character.
The pair shared lunch at the chic Verde restaurant in Darlinghurst, Sydney, where Kyle got to run Agro.
“When I put my fist in Agro’s anus or whatever it is, it was the best day of my life,” he gushed.
Jackie later teased Kyle about the claim, arguing that running Agro didn’t compare to his recent marriage to partner Tegan Kynaston or the birth of his first child Otto, who is almost a year old.
“If I had to sacrifice one of those things—Otto, the wedding—it’s a hard choice, but Agro would have to go. I say that because society expects it,” the radio star joked.
Agro made his Channel Seven debut in 1990 in Agro’s Cartoon Connection, a children’s breakfast show that ran on weekday mornings.
It was canceled due to poor ratings and replaced by the hit TV show Sunrise.
