Kyle Sandilands reveals exactly why he cancelled his birthday party at the last minute – even though everyone had already arrived

Kyle Sandilands decided to cancel his birthday party at the last minute on Monday because he didn’t feel like getting out of bed.

The radio jock and his family were on their way to Japanese restaurant Nobu to celebrate his 53rd birthday.

But he decided to cancel his party at the last minute, even though everyone had arrived.

‘I canceled it. I just didn’t feel like having a family lunch at Nobu,” Kyle revealed as he arrived at the KIIS FM studios on Tuesday morning.

He explained that his driver and security team were ready to escort him to the Crown for lunch when he changed his mind.

‘The driver was ready, security and mom were present. “Everyone was dressed up and I decided I wasn’t going to celebrate and went back to bed,” he added.

It comes after Kyle’s co-host Jackie O Henderson was left red-faced on Friday after an accidental accident on her KIIS FM breakfast show.

The radio queen, 49, accidentally showed off her entire team as she put her legs up on her desk before a producer intervened.

“Jackie is just a request from the whole team. You’re flashing… all of us now,” the producer said.

Kyle interjected, “I told you to take your feet off the desk. That’s not ladylike.’

Referring to the infamous interrogation scene from the 1992 thriller Basic Instinct, Jackie joked: “Did I just give y’all Sharon Stone?”

“No, I’m wearing panties,” she clarified before rudely putting her legs back on the desk.

“I’ve discussed it now…I think I’m maneuvering myself not to let it out here. It’s very hot there,” she joked.
