Kyle Sandilands has revealed that NSW Labor leader Chris Minns will be playing guitar at his upcoming wedding to fiancé Tegan Kynaston.
He made the announcement on Tuesday, telling his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson that he had booked a celebrity not known as a musician to perform at his star-studded wedding on April 29.
Kyle said the dude was hiding in the studio with his electric guitar and would soon come out to play a riff, inviting Jackie to guess who it was.
After the mystery guest played the riff from AC/DC’s You Shook Me All Night Long, Jackie only needed a few clues to figure out it was Minns.
When she guessed correctly, the 43-year-old state opposition leader came out of hiding and was interviewed by the presenters of KIIS FM.

Minns said he’s played guitar since he was 13, and told Kyle he’d love to play AC/DC’s Thunderstruck at his wedding.
Kyle said, “I’d love that,” telling Minns that he’s already booked Guy Sebastian and Samantha Jade to sing at his wedding, and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to DJ.
Minns posted a photo to Instagram of him playing his Gibson Les Paul at the KIIS FM studios in North Ryde, Sydney.
“I didn’t expect to be playing AC/DC on @kyleandjackieo this morning – couldn’t resist taking Jackie’s Masked Singer judging to another level!” he wrote.
Minns said he’s played guitar since he was 13, and told Kyle he’d love to play AC/DC’s Thunderstruck at his wedding.
Kyle and his fiancee Tegan will tie the knot on April 29.
The couple has invited 130 people to the wedding, including A-Listers such as singer Guy Sebastian and Samantha Jade from The X Factor.
Last year, Kyle revealed he had booked the Prime Minister as a DJ at the reception.
However, he revealed that Tegan turned down an offer from KIIS FM’s management to “broadcast the ceremony live” because she wasn’t “in for it”.
