Former Byron Baes cast member Alex Reid has spent $1.9 million on a beautiful terraced house in Sydney’s Surry Hills.
Reid, who was once an assistant to radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands, bought the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in a pre-sale last week.
Originally listed with a guide price of $1.75 million, the unique split-level property features two separate residences.
Reid plans to renovate the sprawling home and turn the ground floor residence into an Airbnb, while claiming the top floor condo for himself, reported The Wentworth Courier on Wednesday.
On the top floor there is a private home office and a large bedroom with adjoining balcony.
A staircase leads to the spacious living areas which have been designed with a thoughtful open plan layout.
There is also a private kitchen and entertainment deck in the backyard.
The self-contained ground floor apartment features a large courtyard and a private living room with a separate kitchen.

According to the report, Reid is heading to Singapore to expand his agency, Amplify, and plans to only use the new premises on return trips Down Under.
He has previously served as an assistant to both Sandilands and Sophie Monk.
Reid rose to fame in 2022 as one of the cast members of the Netflix series Byron Baes.
The series, which gained quite a bit of fame, follows the lives of 14 influencers in Byron Bay.

Reid, born on the Gold Coast, moved to Byron during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He later told the Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast, “I have a business and I have other distractions… For me, I didn’t go on this show to be an influencer.”
Byron Baes was at one point the fourth most watched series on Netflix in Australia.
