Jackie ‘O’ Henderson is loving life after losing a whopping 18kg in just five months.

Not only does she look and feel like the best she’s had in years, but the 48-year-old radio host is also fitter than ever thanks to her newfound passion for tennis.

Her social life is thriving too, as she spends more time with her friends and colleagues, even dipping her toes back into the dating scene.

But these positive changes came as a shock to her co-host Kyle Sandilands, who no longer recognizes the positive, vivacious woman Jackie has become.

Kyle had gotten used to hearing stories about her mundane weekends and was alarmed on Wednesday when she heard all about her fun Anzac Day holiday.

Speaking The Kyle and Jackie O Showthe single mother of one revealed how she went to the pub on Tuesday and played two-up for the first time.

“I did a two-up for the first time yesterday. I’ve never done that before,” she said, overflowing with palpable excitement.

A stunned Kyle replied, “Who are you?” We’ve seen you in a tennis outfit. Now she’s in the crowd doing the two-up in Clovelly.

‘What… what happened? Do you use drugs?’

‘What… what happened? Do you use drugs?’ Kyle asked, to which a shocked Jackie replied, “What?” No! Why?’

‘What? No! Why?’ replied a shocked Jackie.

Kyle then asked her “what’s going on in your life” to cause such a sudden personality change in the past few months.

Jackie, who seemed surprised by the question, said, “I just want to have fun…”

“Well, you left a little late. Say it,” Kyle remarked.

‘Better late than never!’ she laughed.

In addition to following a low-calorie diet, she often skips breakfast, a practice known as intermittent fasting.

Jackie also avoids carbs and satisfies her hunger throughout the day by snacking on pre-cut pieces of steak.

Resisting splurging on high-calorie foods for lunch, she chooses to eat only “three small pieces of steak” and a few Vietnamese rice paper rolls with fish and cabbage.
