Mladenov now has plans to run in the next state elections as an independent.
I have since resigned from the Labor Party. I don’t think they are doing a very good job in NSW and that’s why I left. I’m very open to running as an independent in this statewide election,’ he told Sandilands.
‘Independents are shit. They are all Mosman moms who want to save the world, and guess who suffers? The poorest people on earth. Go back to Labor,’ Kyle snapped.

‘Independents are losers. They are all Sandilands of losers, he added.
‘It’s a bit different at Western Sydney Kyle. Sometimes you need people to stand up for the issues that matter and I don’t think (NSW Labor Party leader) Chris Minns and NSW Labor do that,’ Mladenov replied.
“I don’t think Minns ever had a chance to govern. I know the guy and I think you’re full of shit. So go away,’ Sandilands raged.

‘In Western Sydney, it is necessary for Western Sydney candidates to apply. NSW Labor has not chosen anyone who lives in their area,” Mladenov continued.
‘Nobody cares about that,’ a clearly irritated Sandilands snorted.
“They do, because when you live in Bankstown and don’t have access to government services, you need a local MP who can really understand the issues to advocate on your behalf,” Mladenov continued.
Mladenov explained that he was considering running as an independent and has until the end of February to decide.
“You seem to have left the Labor Party under a cloak of ugliness,” Sandilands replied.
“No, I left because the standard you accept is the standard you set, and NSW Labor’s standard right now is terrible,” Mladenov replied.
He then explained that he was considering running as an independent and that he has until the end of February to decide.
‘Don’t bother, you will be destroyed. Nobody wants an independent. Independents are broken Sandilands flops
