‘I’ve spent $150,000 on flowers and $100,000 on catering. I didn’t realize how much it costs to make napkins with your own emblem,’ he said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

“We already have $250,000 and we only have flowers and food.”

Kyle added that while he had managed to book musicians to perform at his wedding for free, he still had to pay for travel expenses.

“For the performances I have to bring the drummer and guitarist from Melbourne, they need to travel to and from the airport and stay overnight,” he said.

The couple is getting married next month and recently selected the gifts they want.

Kyle said that while guests aren’t required to bring gifts to the wedding, there is a David Jones registry they can choose from if they ‘insist’.

The list features 38 items with a total value of $14,340 and includes Waterford crystal glasses and vases, bathroom rugs and a Nespresso machine.

Speaking on his radio show, Kyle gave Jackie his wedding invitation in person.

The most expensive items listed are a Waterford crystal vase priced at $2,799 and a Global seven-piece knife set priced at $1,059.

The couple have invited 130 people to the wedding, including A-Listers like singer Guy Sebastian and The X Factor’s Samantha Jade.
