Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson kicked off with a bang in Melbourne on Monday, but the city’s listeners were left divided by the breakfast show’s raunchy style.
The radio shock jocks made a stunning X-rated debut with a profane opener that discussed sexually transmitted infections (STDs) and favorite sexual positions, but also included plenty of swearing.
Melburnians flocked to Instagram to share their thoughts on the shocking Sydney broadcast, with some disgusted by the overtly sexual content, while others found it a welcome change from their usual local breakfast radio offerings.
One disgruntled listener said: ‘Is your content really suitable for school leavers, no child needs to be exposed to so much sexual content!’
Another wrote: ‘Someone get Kyle off the show. He’s one of the greatest clowns around.’

A third said they hoped Kyle and Jackie O would fail in Melbourne, writing beneath their debut ‘We’re Live’: ‘Hopefully not for long.’
“Rolled around at 7.45am with the kids in the car and Kyle was busy with Jackie’s sex life… No thanks… back to Jase and Lauren,” one person said, referring to the former KIIS FM Melbourne breakfast hosts who were forced to Nova to jump to save their jobs.
Not everyone in Melbourne was saddened by The Kyle and Jackie O Show, with many also stopping by to express their love as they welcomed the radio duo to the city.
One enthusiastic fan wrote: ‘YASSSSSSSS! The King and Queen have arrived! WOO HOOOOO! xxx.’
‘Best show opener at 6am ever!’ another said, while someone else added: ‘Welcome to Melbourne, I love it!’

Meanwhile, a listener praised Jackie O, saying: “Day one and I was literally laughing at Jackie’s dating details.”
Kyle, 52, and Jackie O, 49, appeared on the Victorian airwaves in typical style on Monday morning, with the former introducing himself to Melburnians as an ‘ex F-boy, coke-snorting a**hole’.
Co-host Jackie O, meanwhile, introduced herself as ‘STD-free’ before Kyle started pressuring her for her views on anal sex.
Shock jock Kyle then began introducing their extensive team of producers to new listeners in Melbourne.

News anchor Brooklyn Ross told listeners during his introduction that he “had a few STDs.”
“The worst were the crabs,” he laughed.
“Brooklyn is a woke piece of shit,” Kyle declared after his colleague subsequently revealed that he drives a Tesla.
Moments later, show director and Kyle’s manager Bruno Bouchet introduced himself to listeners by saying, “Despite being straight, I love being pinned down.”
