Kyle Sandilands, 52, leaves fans in shock with pregnancy announcement

Kyle Sandilands surprised his radio co-star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and colleagues on Monday when he announced live on-air that one of their top producers Jaimee ‘Mayo’ Hassos is pregnant.

Hassos was stunned when Kyle revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Sebastian Blazquez.

Kyle, Jackie O and several other staff broadcast their popular KIIS FM show from the South of France as the shock jock enjoys his honeymoon with wife Tegan Kynaston.

“Mayo is pregnant,” Kyle said after announcing he had “big show news.”

Jackie scolded her co-host, saying she should have given Mayo a warning before revealing the news.

“Yeah, that shocked me a bit,” Mayo said.

Kyle joked that he thought Mayo was just “piling on the pounds,” but there’s a “baby in there” instead.

Jackie added: ‘Can you believe it. Do you know how happy I am for her?’

Mayo said her baby would be expected during the study break and that her parents “cried” when she told them the happy news after fearing it was taking “too long” for her to conceive.

Jaimee married Sebastian, her first and only boyfriend, in May 2019.

She went on to say that Kyle has been “considerate” to her ever since she found out she was pregnant.

Fans would be forgiven for thinking it was Kyle announcing a pregnancy after giving birth to son Otto with Tegan.

Kyle and Tegan welcomed their first child, Otto, last August and Kyle loves being a father.
