Kyle Richards finally revealed what led to her divorce from Mauricio Umansky.
On Live! With Kelly and Mark on Friday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, confirmed she “spent a lot of time away” from the real estate agent, 53, before they split.
In a segment from an upcoming episode of the hit Bravo talk show series, she admitted that she needed “freedom” and “space” from her husband of 27 years.
Her costar Dorit Kemsley quizzed her about her wedding in the sneak peek, asking, “I mean, have you had any thoughts lately?” For example, do you think you wouldn’t end up with Mo?’
She seemed irritated by the question and responded with another question, “Why do you think this?”

βWell, even just from Instagram, I usually see you and Mo together,β Dorit noted from her observations. βAnd it seemed like you spent a lot of time apart.
βI feel like I needed a little bit of freedom β freedom and some space,β responded the reality TV personality β who initiated the divorce after their 27-year marriage.
After watching the clip, she explained that she hadn’t seen it until now and “wasn’t happy with the questions” from her castmate.
“I wasn’t ready to deal with those things,” she explained, before adding that “it would have been better if (Dorit) had asked me off camera.”
She then added that she wasn’t having a good day when her costar brought up the conversation about her marriage during filming.
“Well, that particular day I really wasn’t happy,” Kyle noted, chuckling slightly. “I feel like you can definitely tell.”
She admitted that she was “not quite” herself, but also “a little angry” and “a little bitter” while filming for the show’s new season.
Earlier this week, Kyle also spoke about Mauricio “hurting her feelings” in her first tell-all interview since their divorce.

The insider also revealed that their “chemistry” is very real and is anything but a “showmance.”
