Kyle Richards REUNITES with sister Kathy Hilton amid ongoing feud to celebrate niece’s bridal shower

Kyle Richards reunited with her sister Kathy Hilton despite their ongoing feud, to celebrate her niece’s bachelorette party in a new Instagram post shared Tuesday.

The Halloween actress, 54, posed for a family photo with her older siblings: Paris and Nicky Hilton’s mother, 64, and Kim Richards, 58, whose daughter, Whitney Davis, will soon be walking down the aisle.

The couple seemed to put aside their differences for the special day, and were also joined by other family members, such as Kim’s sister Brooke, Kyle’s oldest daughter, Farrah, and the bride-to-be herself.

Kyle and Kathy’s relationship took a bumpy road during the season 12 reunion of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, which aired in October 2022, and after Hilton’s epic meltdown during a cast trip to Aspen.

As the group smiled happily for the camera, the mother-of-four wrote, “My beautiful niece @whittlesdavis is getting married. A wonderful shower for our Whittles. So happy for you & @lukegrahamwhite.’

While Kyle was effortlessly stylish in a dark denim ensemble, Kathy opted for a patterned blue dress while Kim donned a short floral sundress. The trio stood side by side in the back as they posed for the quick shot under the warm sun.

She also included a photo of her niece wearing a white cowboy hat with the word “Bride” written in pearl embellishments on the front.

Recently, Kyle and Kathy got into a rift while filming a season 12 cast trip to Aspen, Colorado. During the outing, which aired last year during a September episode, Hilton had a breakdown about her younger sibling.

At the time, fellow castmate Lisa Rinna, per Us weekly“We were at the club and Kathy had an absolute breakdown. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life.’

She also recalled that Kathy had been, “yelling made Kyle.” Kathy is responsible for Kyle and she said, “I will destroy Kyle and her family if that’s the last thing I ever do.”

During the episode, Richards had said, “I really honestly believed that we’d never go to a bad place again. And I don’t know how to fix this.’ But in July 2022, before the episode aired, Kathy admitted to Us Weekly, “I was frustrated. There’s no excuse for it.’

Richard Hilton’s wife claimed she was “overtired” and “I just wanted someone to vent to.” And I think what I’ve learned is – I love both of my sisters. I love them. They are my blood, and I should never have said anything to anyone.’

However, Aspen’s comments came to light again during the season 12 reunion, leaving Kyle in tears and refusing to join the toast at the very end.

Earlier this year in February, the Little House On The Prairie actress gave an update on her relationship with Kathy and shared Page six“I haven’t seen her in a while.”

She then revealed to the outlet, “To be honest, things haven’t been great since the reunion.” Last month in April, Kyle expressed hopes of smoothing over her relationship with her half-sister, Kathy, while speaking to People.

“We’ll get there one day, you know, it takes time. Family is complicated. You know, we’re no different than anyone other than being in the public eye. But we’ve been through rough times before and we’ve always gotten back together. So that’s the hope.’

While opening up to the publication, Richards revealed that she has yet to meet Paris Hilton’s baby boy, Phoenix Barron, who was born via surrogate in January. “I haven’t seen baby Phoenix.”

“I wish I could say I have it, but I don’t. I’ve seen pictures and he’s beautiful and perfect, just like she was when she was [Paris Hilton] was a baby.’

In March, both Kyle and Kathy crossed paths at Elton John’s annual Oscar viewing party in West Hollywood and stopped for a photo together, hinting that the sisters have reconciled.

However, at the time, a source revealed to People that “nothing has really changed since the reunion. They still don’t talk. No one has bothered to throw in the towel.’

The insider added: ‘Kyle is currently focusing on herself and Kathy is doing the same. But they are family and each of them supports the other and always will be.’

The two had previously fallen apart in 2018 when Kyle decided to produce the American Woman series, which was inspired by Kyle’s childhood, as well as by their mother, Kathleen Richards. Eventually, the sisters worked through their issues and celebrated Kim’s birthday together later that same year.

Both sisters joined the successful Bravo hit series in 2010, but Kim made the decision to leave the show in 2015.

Five years later, Kathy joined in 2020, and so far Kyle is set to return for the upcoming thirteenth season, with Hilton potentially returning for some screen time as well. However, whether the socialite will return as a full-time cast member or simply as a “friend” has not been confirmed.

A firm release date for the anticipated season has yet to be announced as filming begins in February earlier this year.
