Kyle Richards posts new version of photo she deleted due to editing fail and explains: ‘I didn’t look before I posted it’
Kyle Richards took to Instagram this week and shared a properly edited photo of herself after deleting the original when she was called out for a sloppy edit.
Through the app’s Stories feature, the 54-year-old reality TV star again shared the photo of her and Hermès executive Michael Coste, who also posted it to his Insta account.
“Always love seeing you and laughing together @michaelcostefr,” she wrote under the image.
Kyle’s now-deleted photo showed a blurry area on her arm, prompting her social media followers to call out the bizarrely botched photo.
She later defended herself in a comment to her Page six‘ on Instagram page and wrote, ‘This photo was sent to me by Michael and I didn’t look before posting. Admittedly, he does this with all his photos. This is not newsworthy. I’m pretty sure people are just as bored with this as I am.’

Her excuse: She later defended herself in a comment on Page Six’s Instagram page
Earlier this week, Kyle quickly removed the image from her Instagram grid after sharing it with her 4.2 million followers this Sunday.
Her fans were quick to call the “ridiculous” failed change.
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star had snapped the photo with Coste while visiting Paris.
Although Richards deleted the image from her Instagram, she still had the photo up on her Facebook page as of Tuesday.
She wrote in the caption, “When I’m in Paris my first stop is always @michaelcostefr. Until next time.’
The petite socialite added, “And I’m standing on my toes thinking an inch and a half can make a world of difference in this photo.” With a height of 1.80 meters you do what you have to do.’
She wore a cropped white short-sleeved top with ruffles, revealing her muscular and vascular arms.
It’s unclear what the Bravo TV veteran was trying to hide in the outtake, but it may have been her veins, which were out of view in the alternate photo.

On her lower half, Kyle wore light colored pants with a subtle flare and she carried a baby pink Hermès Kelly bag.
Michael shared the same photo with the caption, “#KyleRichards is back to #Paris! It’s so good to see her again.’
The faint mark on her arm didn’t exist in the image he uploaded.
On Facebook, social media users jumped to the comments section to point out the ugly mistake.
One person wrote, “The filter went wrong,” while another added, “You don’t even look like yourself.”
Another critic remarked, ‘Photoshop fails! Just be true to who you are. Stop this ridiculous Photoshop madness!’
Someone else simply asked, “Why Photoshop Kyle?” You’re beautiful just the way you are!’
And one user thought, “Why would she post this…it’s so obvious she didn’t realize lol.”
Difference: Her close friend, Michael, notably shared the same photo on his own Instagram page, but in the image he uploaded, the faint mark on her arm did not exist
Before the photo accident, Kyle was enjoying an Italian vacation with husband Mauricio Umansky and their daughters.
Richards and Umansky – who shocked fans by splitting last July – are parents to daughters Alexia, 27; Sophia, 23; and Portia, 15. Kyle also shares daughter Farrah, 34, with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.
The clan enjoyed the last days of summer, traveling to scenic destinations along the Amalfi Coast.
The mother of four shared a selection of the outing’s recordings via Instagram.
