Kyle Richards’ ex Mauricio Umansky is outraged for apparently looking for real estate clients amid the catastrophic wildfires in the Pacific Palisades.
Wildfires are spreading rapidly across Los Angeles today, with firefighters admitting they are unable to control the flames due to high winds. At least two people died in the fires.
The real estate agent shared devastating images of the fire from his home, writing: ‘Praying for everyone who has lost their home.
“I pray for Los Angeles and that the wind will stop. I pray for our brave firefighters. This is so devastating to me and the Agency will do everything in our power to help.
The star’s post was quickly criticized by followers, writing: ‘How to help? Asking $50 million for a house?’
Another wrote, “charged with PPP fraud for stealing from the state of California.” In August, Umansky found himself in legal trouble over some allegedly fraudulent PPP loans he received during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The real estate agent shared devastating images of the fire from his home, writing: ‘Praying for everyone who has lost their home. “I pray for Los Angeles and that the wind will stop. I pray for our brave firefighters. To me, this is so devastating and the Agency will do everything in our power to help.”
Umansky and his real estate company, known simply as The Agency, were accused of fraudulently obtaining $3.5 million in PPP loans during the pandemic.
Umansky — who was married to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards for 27 years until their divorce in July 2023 — is being sued by Realtor LLC.
The lawsuit was filed in July 2023, but was recently unsealed by the court, according to InTouch, although Umansky — whose Netflix show Buying Beverly Hills was recently canceled — has denied the claims.

LA’s fire chief said Wednesday morning that the fires have left at least two people dead, as well as many “significant injuries.”
The Palisades Fire erupted Tuesday morning amid high winds in a region that has not seen significant rainfall in more than six months.
More than 30,000 people have been evacuated, often with only their pets and the shirts on their backs.

Blocks of expensive homes were reduced to rubble as the fires moved at a rate of three football field lengths per minute.
A stretch of beachfront homes along the Pacific Coast Highway burned to the ground.
The fire reached the Getty Villa, but museum officials assured the public that all art and artifacts are safe.
The Palisades fire isn’t the only fire raging in Los Angeles. The Eaton fire in the Pasadena area has claimed two lives and caused the evacuation of a senior center.

Many celebrities have been affected by the fires.
Ben Affleck was driven away on Tuesday. He has a house nearby, just like his ex Jennifer Garner.
Mandy Moore had to be evacuated. James Woods and Steve Guttenberg have said their property was damaged.
Several A-list celebrities live in the area, including Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn and Tom Hanks.
