Kyle Richards ditches ‘wife’ from Instagram following Mauricio Umansky’s kiss with mystery woman and celebrates two years of sobriety with sexy selfie

Kyle Richards dropped the word “wife” from her Instagram account and shared a brand new selfie, a day after her ex Mauricio Umansky was spotted kissing a mystery woman.

The 55-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star showed off her figure on Thursday, celebrating her two-year alcohol-free streak.

She also updated her Instagram bio, which now reads, “Mom, actor, author, producer, animal lover, a RHOBH, CAA.” Her previous bio had the word “wife” in the second position.

Her Twitter profile still has “wife” in it, even though she rarely uses the platform. Kyle dropped Umanksy from her social media name in May, but kept “wife” in her bio.

In her new post, the TV personality posed at her gym, wearing a black sports bra and black leggings.

She flexed her biceps as she took a mirror selfie of her toned body.

She also added a lengthy caption to the post, writing that the “hardest part” of sobriety was “the resistance” from friends and those who loved “the party Kyle.”

“This week marks my 2 year anniversary of being alcohol free (July 15th). I can remember a time when the idea of ​​not drinking alcohol for 2 weeks seemed impossible,” her lengthy caption read.

“I’m proud that I’ve had the willpower to stay on this path. I know a lot of people would love it if I started drinking again.”

“Even friends with the best intentions. Everyone loved ‘Party Kyle.’ I think that was the hardest part of it all. The pushback from other people. The old me, the people pleaser, had a hard time with that. And I realized right away that I wasn’t going to get a lot of encouragement.”

“But I’ve popped enough splits and twirled enough ponytails to know when it’s time to call it quits (okay, I may still pop a split here and there. Sorry) But my mental and physical health became far more important to me than feeling like I had to be ‘on’ at a party or social occasion.”

“I’m not going to lie… the fact that I looked better because I didn’t drink was also an incentive to stay on the path I’m on. But the real reward is how I feel inside. I feel strong, energetic, and grateful for my body. I want to take care of it, like it has taken care of me.”

She continued: ‘It would have been a lot harder to get through these difficult times if I had been drinking.’

“I want to wake up every day feeling the best I can. Mentally and physically strong enough to face whatever comes my way.”

‘A lot of strangers come up to me and tell me that I’ve inspired them to start their own alcohol-free journey. That makes me happy and inspires me in turn. So, thank you for that.’

She concluded the caption by saying, ‘I often think of the Ernest Hemingway quote, “I drink to make other people more interesting.” Personally, I prefer to see people and situations as they are. AND without the fear #alcoholfree.’

A day earlier, on Wednesday, photos surfaced of her ex Mauricio, 54, passionately kissing a mystery blonde woman in Greece this week – a year after his split from Kyle.

The 54-year-old property magnate Umansky looked happier than ever as he was greeted by a glamorous companion at Mykonos airport.

The couple wrapped their arms around each other and exchanged a warm kiss, before embracing with smiles.

The woman appears to be at least 20 years younger than Umansky, but her identity is currently unknown.

The couple’s friendship has been in the news since Kyle announced that she is divorcing her husband Umansky.
