Kyle and Jackie O become Australia’s most popular podcast

Kyle and Jackie O break records by becoming Australia’s most popular podcast after reaching the largest radio audience ever.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show has topped the charts once again.

But they’re not just dominating the radio charts: for the first time, they’re also the leader in Australia’s official podcast rankings.

His podcast has climbed two spots to number one, a feat never before achieved by a catch-up radio show.

According to the latest Australian Podcast Ranker results, published on Wednesday, Kyle and Jackie O was downloaded 4.7 million times in February and had over a million listeners, numbers no podcast has seen since Casefile in October 2021.

Hosted by iHeartPodcast Network, the KIIS FM Sydney duo has been the number one catch-up radio podcast since records began, and is now first in all categories.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show has topped the charts once again, but they just don’t dominate the radio charts. For the first time ever, Kyle Sandilands (left) and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson (right) are also the leaders in Australia’s official podcast rankings.

Co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson said she was delighted that the podcast was reaching the same large audience as the live show, which last year became the most listened to Australian radio show ever.

“In addition to our Sydney breakfast audience, it’s wonderful to know that we have so many listeners taking time out of their busy day to listen to us,” he said.

Henderson and his on-air partner, Kyle Sandilands, crushed their Sydney competition in the podcast rankings, with Jonesy & Amanda coming in at 20th, Ben Fordham Live at 24th and Fitzy & Wippa trailing at 76th.

Life Uncut, hosted by Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne, charted at number five and Abbie Chatfield’s It’s A Lot at number 16.

It comes days after Henderson celebrated the purchase of his luxury home live.

He was still riding high Monday after making the winning bid on his dream home over the weekend.

The mother-of-one shelled out $13.25 million on a three-story waterfront home in Clovelly at an open auction Saturday.

His reaction to winning the auction was caught on camera by nearby paparazzi.
