Kumail Nanjiani made a stylish figure as he left The View in New York City on Wednesday while promoting the new Welcome To Chippendales series.
The Harold and Kumar star, 44, wore a bright yellow button-up shirt with white round designs under a green leather jacket with green trousers and brown leather shoes.
His new limited series, Welcome to Chippendales, is a wild crime saga based on the true story behind the man-tastic, sex-god, abs party that grew into a global phenomenon.

Describing his character, Kumail said, “So the guy who created Chippendales… he was an Indian immigrant, I didn’t know the story, a lot of wild things happened behind the scenes.”
He added: “People have been killed because of Chippendales. He burned down other male strip clubs because he thought they were stealing his ideas, so you know, I had no idea there was so much wild stuff going on.”
Nanjianai had to stretch outside his comfort zone to play the role of a dark character who gets angry.
Coming from a comedic background, Kumail explained that he drew inspiration from his hero Robin Williams, who also started his career as a stand-up comedian but later rose to fame as more serious, darker characters.
Kumail said, “H’s kind of a bad guy, you know, he’s a dark character, you know, and when I look at the people who inspired me to do comedy in the first place, Robin Williams is someone I think of a lot. think. .
“He’s amazing, and when I think of people who started out as stand-up and ended up playing dark, dramatic roles, it’s really hard to beat the level he’s reached in all those different areas.

“Actually, my wife and I used to do a comedy show in LA in the back of this comic book store, a tiny little show. And one day I was hosting and I came backstage and Robin Williams was standing there.
And I thought, “Hello, I’m Kumail.” And he says, “Hey, I’m Robin.”
‘ And I’m like, ‘Yeah! I know! We all know.”
“And he was cool, you know, he wore a jacket and a hat, and I was like, ‘Do you want to go on stage?’ and he said, “Oh, no, I can’t.”
“And I thought, ‘Are you sure?’ and before I was done he said “I’ll just do 2 minutes.” He went on stage and did 20 minutes, it was amazing, he did so well!’
