- The fight will take place in front of approximately 70,000 fans and will be broadcast on Netflix
- KSI had boldly claimed it would be a one-sided fight, describing it as ‘disgusting’
KSI has condemned the upcoming ‘disgusting’ showdown between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
Tyson, the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990, is set to make a long-awaited return to professional boxing in his fight against the YouTuber-turned-boxer on Friday in Arlington, Texas.
The fight was postponed from its original date in July, but a flare-up of an ulcer on the plane meant Tyson, 58, was advised to postpone the bout.
Tyson’s health issues, combined with the 31-year age difference between the fighters, are a cause for concern for boxing fans and experts alike.
And KSI, who defeated Jake’s older brother Paul in a fight in 2019, has made a bold prediction, claiming ‘it won’t be close’.
“Jake Paul will knock out Mike Tyson. This won’t be close at all. Boxing is a sport for young men and Mike is 58 years old,” KSI wrote on X.

“They’re sending a lamb to slaughter and it’s disgusting.”
Tyson has not fought professionally since his loss to Kevin McBride in 2005, with his last win coming two years earlier.
Meanwhile, Paul only made his debut in 2020, the same year Tyson fought Roy Jones Jnr in an exhibition bout and 18 years after the legend’s last title fight.
Tensions between Fury and Paul flared at Thursday’s weigh-in when the former punched the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Paul seemed relatively unfazed by the stoppage, as Tyson was restrained and made little comment before leaving the stage. That gave Paul the opportunity to send his final message via the microphone.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani on stage, Paul said: ‘Mike Tyson, that was a cute slap buddy, but tomorrow you’re going to get the fuck knocked out.

In a chilling ending, he delivered a three-word message: “He must die!”
