Kristin Cavallari slashes over $1M off the price of her renovated Tennessee country estate

Kristin Cavallari has dropped the price of her 6,788-square-foot estate in Franklin, TN to $9.95 million – seven months after putting the 28-acre estate on the real estate market for $11 million.

The Let’s Be Honest podcaster — who turned 38 on Sunday — slashed $1.05 million on the price of the three-story single-family home three years after telling the story My Domain: ‘This is my home as far as I can see into the future.’

Kristin originally purchased the nine-year-old ranch for just $3 million in April 2020 — the same month she announced she was legally divorcing her husband Jay Cutler after seven years of marriage (the divorce was finalized in 2022).

Cavallari then teamed up with interior designer April Tomlin and began an 18-month renovation that saw them gut the kitchen, finish the basement, redo the bathrooms and her master closet, and add an in-ground pool and greenhouse.

“I’m very grateful because this is the first house I’ve ever lived in and that’s exactly what I wanted aesthetically,” the Uncommon James founder told My Domaine in 2022.

‘It’s so nice to be able to come home to this environment. I can’t say enough good things about Tennessee. It’s very grounding for me and I feel so comfortable here.’

Kristin’s spacious kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances, a quartzite island and a walk-in pantry.

Cavallari’s home has a master bedroom, three en suite bedrooms, four bathrooms and a partial bathroom.

Morgan Wallen’s ex-flame arranged for a luxurious sauna and a large gym to be added to the basement, which also serves as a ‘wellness retreat’.

Kristin feels “very fortunate” that her three children – son Camden, 12; son Jaxon, 10; and daughter Saylor, 9, get to “play outside all day.”

“The second level is essentially the kids zone. It’s where all three of their bedrooms are: the playroom, an arts and crafts room and a playroom,” Cavallari explained.

‘The fact that I have bees, honey and a chicken coop makes me so happy. Plus, it’s fun to teach your kids such life skills. For my kids to be able to go to our chicken coop to get eggs is a really cool way to grow up – and very different from how I grew up.”

Located 20 miles south of Nashville, the Denver-born beauty’s estate also features a 3,000-square-foot guest house, as well as a vegetable garden, apple trees and berry bushes.
