Kristin Cavallari admitted she was in tears after watching her 12-year-old son Camden take a hard hit during his first soccer game.
Cavallari is the ex-wife of former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, who played 12 seasons in the NFL.
Cutler played for the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins, among others, and earned a spot in the 2008 Pro Bowl.
Cavallari and Cutler have three children together, but on Tuesday she revealed how emotional she got when she saw 12-year-old Camden on the field.
In August, Cavallari celebrated her son’s 12th birthday and his first-ever game as the starting quarterback for his youth soccer team by posting a message a photo of herself hugging Cam in his football uniform.

Cavallari admitted on her podcast “Let’s Be Honest” that she cried the night before the game at the prospect of her son playing against opponents “6-foot-3 and taller.”
She also said Camden took some “really hard hits” on the field, causing her to burst into tears as she watched.
She said, “He got hit, went flying through the air and fell really hard.”
‘I just knew, as a mother, how scared he was after that first blow. And that’s what really confused me. Oh my god, I really thought I had gotten through all of this.
‘The thought of him being scared out there kills me. It kills me.
“More than the physical aspect, physically I don’t want him to get hurt, and then he got hit a couple more times. And that was honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through. It’s so hard to see your baby get hit.
‘Your children are literally little pieces of your heart, very literally, out there in the world, getting s*** thrown at them, getting physically beaten up, all that stuff. And all we want to do as mothers is protect our babies.
“The other side of it is when he plays really well and he scores a touchdown and stuff, it’s the best feeling in the world and you’re so happy for him.”
