Kristen Stewart goes ultra casual in double-denim out in LA

Kristen Stewart goes ultra-casual in double denim while in LA…

Kristen Stewart was sporting an ultra-casual look when she was spotted wandering Los Angeles this Friday afternoon.

Going for a double denim look, the 33-year-old Twilight star paired a black jacket with fashionably faded jeans.

Her pants were brutally ripped just below her derrière, adding a touch of personality to her look, including a simple white T-shirt.

Kristen layered a baseball cap over her dark brown mullet and rounded out the ensemble with a pair of simple white sneakers over black socks.

Her latest look was a far cry from the high-octane glamor she exuded as she stepped down the month at New York’s Met Gala.

Thrown as always by Vogue capo Anna Wintour, this year’s event was a tip of the hat for famed wasp-like late designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Karl’s most celebrated performance was as top designer for Chanel, a position he held for more than three decades before passing away in 2019 at the age of 85.

Kristen was one of the stars Chanel got to wear at this year’s Met Gala, along with the likes of Charlotte Casiraghi, Sofia Coppola and Marion Cotillard.

Charlotte is the socialite granddaughter of Grace Kelly, while Marion became the face of Chanel No. 1 in 2020. 5 and Sofia as a teenager did an internship at Chanel.

Meanwhile, Kristen had been a longtime brand ambassador for Chanel and struck up a friendship with Karl in the process.

In the aftermath of his death, which sparked a wave of backlash over his politically incorrect bon mots, Kristen shared her warm memories of him.

“It’s funny how he presents – so sober and so scary. But he wasn’t,” Kristen recalled Vanity purse. “He was incredibly inviting — insanely, shockingly unpretentious.”

Acknowledging his high standards, she said, “He liked what he liked because he liked it. He was a fancy bastard, but it was true to him.”

Kristen mused, “It’s almost like he felt he was intimidating, so he thought, ‘No. Having a creative heart is daunting, but let’s make it beat faster and harder.'”

As for matters of the heart in Kristen’s own life, she has been engaged to the screenwriter Dylan Meyer for over a year and a half.

Dylan happens to be the daughter of Nicholas Meyer, who was nominated for an Oscar for adapting the script for the film adaptation of his novel The Seven-Per-Cent Solution.

The past few days have seen both father and daughter on the picket line amid the ongoing Hollywood writers’ strike, which began earlier this month.
