Vanderpump Rules' Kristen Doute has said she believes her former best friend Jo Wenberg, who had an affair with Tom Schwartz, used her to appear on the hit Bravo TV series.
In the latest episode of her podcast Sex, love and what else mattersthe 40-year-old reality star opened up about their friendship.
“For you listeners who don't know, Jo was one of my best friends. When I say best friend, I don't mean it lightly,” she began.
Doute emphasized, “This girl was my daily ride-or-die, [and] we were literally hanging out the whole time. For example, six days a week. We stopped talking about the time she started talking to Tom.”
The timeline of events made her doubt Wenberg's sincerity.

Kristen suspects that Wenberg, who had an affair with Tom Schwartz, used her to get on the show
Kristen's boyfriend Luke Broderick supported her claims.
He shared with listeners, “The first time I came to LA to see Kristen, the very first person I met was Jo.
“We went to lunch and she talked about moving [in July 2022]. I didn't see her again until we crossed paths at TomTom, about the same night Scandoval took place [in March 2023].'
Luke added that Kristen suspected Jo wasn't talking to her on purpose, noting, “Kristen told me, 'She's unresponsive and she's ghosting me.'
Jo was introduced to the Vanderpump Rules audience when Schwartz called her his roommate in season ten.
Earlier this year, Tom's ex-wife Katie Maloney provided more information when she made disparaging comments about Wenberg in a comment shared to an Instagram fan account.
On a post where he theorized that Schwartz hooked up with Raquel Leviss, 28, to cover up a romance with Jo, and to cover up Raquel's affair with Tom Sandoval, Maloney held nothing back.
She began her statement by writing, “Jo is creepy. I mean, none of us could stand to be with her.”
Katie continued to attack Jo, who Tom denied being in a relationship with, adding: 'Her energy is comparable to a crackhead.'
Earlier this year, Tom's ex-wife Katie Maloney gave more information about Jo when she made disparaging comments about her and described her as 'creepy'.
Maloney continued bluntly, “When Tom and I announced our divorce almost a year ago, it was the latter [Jo texted] I was “Bieber loves you / I love you, and I so support your inner thoughts and visions / Live in the moment, you're a gem and I've always respected you. I love you. Xo Jo.”
“She's a psychopath and I'll set her on fire with Rachel too.”
The bit about “setting her on fire” stemmed from a comment Katie made while appearing on Watch What Happens Live.
When host Andy Cohen asked what her reaction would be if she found out that Schwartz knew Raquel and Tom were in a relationship but lied to protect Sandoval, she replied, “I would set him on fire.”
Although Tom initially denied having a romantic relationship with Jo, it was later revealed that they had been in a relationship.
