Kristen Bell shares a note left by her 10-year-old daughter Lincoln where he ‘caught’ a ‘fish’ in the shower drain… though it was actually a ball of HAIR

Kristen Bell shared how “sweet” her family was in an Instagram video on Sunday, with a note from her 10-year-old daughter Lincoln and husband Dax Shephard.

The 43-year-old actress – who made headlines for letting her young daughters drink non-alcoholic beer – shared a short video of her son and husband claiming they had somehow caught a ‘fish’ in the shower drain .

It turned out that the “fish” were actually two rather large balls of hair that they yanked out of the drain.

Bell captioned the post “How generous,” which had more than 73,000 likes in just over nine hours after it was posted.

The actress wore a dark blue sweatshirt in the video she posted in the bathroom, in which she shared a glimpse of the precocious 10-year-old’s note.

‘Fish’: Turns out the ‘fish’ were actually two pretty big hairballs that they yanked out of the drain

“Look how sweet my family is, they left me a note in my sink,” Bell said pointing her phone camera at the mirror, before showing her 15.6 million followers the note that read “To Mom, from Lincoln and Dad.

It says, “Dear Mother. My dad and I went fishing in the shower drain and my dad caught a fish and I caught a roach,” Bell began.

“I know you like fish, so me and Dad are going to hand them over to you. Sincerely, Lincoln,” she finished, before lifting the note to reveal the “fish”—two fairly large chunks of hair.

She zoomed in on the larger one, then the smaller one, “roach,” both of which were on dry-cleaning hangers.

“Absolutely disgusting,” Bell concluded at the end of the hilarious video.

Bell made headlines earlier this month when it became known that she let Lincoln and her youngest daughter, eight-year-old Delta, drink non-alcoholic beer.

In July, Bell appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and revealed that her husband Dax Shepard – a recovering alcoholic – drinks non-alcoholic beer, and she would eventually let them taste it.

“As a baby she was clawing at it, and sometimes sucking at the edge of it. So I think to her it feels like something special, something Dad, something family,” Bell explained.

Note: “It says, ‘Dear Mother. My dad and I went fishing in the shower drain and my dad caught a fish and I caught a roach,” Bell began.

She added: “We’ve been to restaurants where she’s asked, ‘Do you have non-alcoholic beer?’ and I’m like… maybe we’ll just keep that for home.’

‘But then I’m also like: you can judge me if you want, I’m not doing anything wrong. Like that’s your problem,” Bell added.

The interview sparked some criticism of her and Dax’s “parenting style,” though she revealed on her husband’s Armchair Quarterback podcast that she’s not worried about the backlash.

“What I love about you is that you’re so logical, fact-based, and fact-based — but if people want to be angry about something, they’re going to be angry about it,” Bell said.

“If they’ve tried to order non-alcoholic beer at a restaurant or something, it’s because of a very specific connection to you,” she told Dax on his Aug. 14 episode.

“Because first of all they get education about addiction and what substances are and how they affect your body, how frightening they are and what they can do to you,” she said, referring to her husband’s past struggles with addiction.
