Kris Jenner’s tears up over ‘little tumor’ on her ovaries: Matriarch’s family react as she reveals details of health scare

Kris Jenner revealed some potentially terrifying medical news on this week’s episode of The Kardashians, telling her family that she would have to have both ovaries removed.

The 68-year-old Kardashian and Jenner matriarch was wrapping up a ski vacation to Aspen with most of her family, though Kylie Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian — who is still recovering from giving birth to Rocky — and Rob Kardashian weren’t in attendance.

They played their ‘peaks and valleys’ game, telling each other the highs and lows of the trip.

Kris says, “For me the highlight was being here with all of you, but the annoying thing is the rest of the family isn’t here,” before turning serious.

“I wanted to tell you guys something because I haven’t told you guys yet, but… you know, I went to the doctor and had a scan… they found… and this makes me really emotional, but… they found a cyst and some kind of small tumor on my ovary,” Kris revealed through tears.

She added: ‘And so I went to the doctor and Dr. A said I should get my ovaries removed. And I’m just really emotional about it because, you know, they came in handy for you guys.’

Kris confesses: ‘I’m emotional about it, because that’s where all my children were conceived and where they grew in my belly. So it’s a very sacred place for me.’

Khloe says Kourtney is calling and asks Kris if she wants to tell her now too. She connects the video call and Kris says, “She’s still on her video.”

“Mom was just telling us about her health,” as Kourtney says, “My health?” Khloe corrects her and says, “Her health. Do you want to hear it?”

“Oh yeah, I’m here with my four kids, is that okay?” Kourtney asks while Kris says, “Yeah, I’m just having a little surgery because I have a tumor on my ovary so they’re going to remove that.”

“Removing your ovaries?” Kourtney asks, and Kris confirms, adding, “But it’s just, you know, the emotional part for me is that that’s gone.”

“Going through surgery and having your ovaries removed is a really big deal. I feel really sad for her, you know? I can’t even imagine being in that situation and how scared you would be going through that,” Kim says in her confessional.

Kris adds at the table, “If I can get through the hip replacement, I can do this. I don’t even have… I’m not nervous about being put to sleep, I’m not nervous about Dr. A. She’s the best doctor in the world, but then you go and do it and it’s so real.”

“Removing your ovaries?” Kourtney asks, and Kris confirms, adding, “But it’s just, you know, the emotional part for me is just that being gone.”

Kourtney says over the phone, “I would feel the same way,” adding in a confessional, “I mean, I totally get how my mom feels, because I would feel the same way. It’s like your feminine power, and it doesn’t mean that it’s like you’re taking away from her, you know, who she is or what she’s been through, but I would feel this as a sentimental feeling of what it’s created.”

Kris says through tears, “It’s also part of getting older and it’s a sign that we’re done with a part of your life, it’s a whole chapter that’s closed,” while Khloe says, “Oh my God.”

Kendall added in her confession, “I understand her emotion behind it. I understand it’s sad because, you know, they brought all of her children into the world, which is totally fair, but at the same time, what are we going to use them for? If they’re potentially hurting you, let’s get them out of there.”

Kris adds with tears in her eyes, “It’s so sad,” as Kim gives her a hug and says, “It’s going to be okay,” while Kris says, “It’s so stupid, but I love you guys and I wanted you to know that.”

Kim says, “Should we have a going-away party for ovaries? And we have to eat everything that’s shaped like…” as she starts laughing.

Corey says, “Kourtney, you have to be there,” while Kourtney says on the phone, “I’ll be there. Well, I love you guys and I miss you guys,” as they hang up.
