Kris Jenner responds to ‘cruel’ haters while also poking fun at references to her on social media and in song lyrics… as she is named Los Angeles Magazine’s Woman of the Year

Kris Jenner responded to haters and also joked about references to her on social media and in song lyrics while speaking to her Los Angeles Magazine.

The TV personality, 68 — who recently starred in an Oreo Super Bowl ad earlier this month — was named the publication’s Woman of the Year and addressed several topics in the latest issue.

When asked about haters, the reality star said: “I have a real problem with bullies and people who are mean and critical online.”

“It’s unfortunate, but there are a lot of people who feel like they have to talk about someone else, and it’s cruel. It affects people’s mental health.’

She added: “I can’t imagine in a gazillion years publicly incriminating someone and knowing that it would hurt someone’s feelings. I don’t know how or where that came from; usually it’s someone who is very unhappy in their own life.’

“It’s a shame that our society has gotten to this point,” Kris admitted, but added, “The good news is I don’t read comments. For the most part, I don’t pay attention to it. I am too busy. I have twelve jobs.’

The businesswoman also talked about Hulu’s hit show, The Kardashians, which will air its fifth season later this year.

Discussing the positive reception, she said, “People talk about the haters every now and then, but when you’re on a platform at this level, the haters are such a small percentage that it doesn’t matter.”

“You can’t focus on the negative; you really have to embrace the positive,” Jenner continued.

‘And I think what’s happened to us over time is that we’ve been able to embrace love, but also become aware of responsibility – what we put out into the world, all the energy, all the messages… ‘

During the interview with Los Angeles Magazine, Kris also responded to references from both her and her family on social media.

Media personality Yuri Lamasbella is known for briefly emulating the Kardashians clips shared on Instagram and TikTok. She often wears wigs and strips of Post-it notes on her fingers that act as long nails.

When asked about her thoughts on the videos, Kris revealed, “She’s hysterical. The Post-It note fingernails are my favorite part. I love it so much.’

“And her impression of Kourtney – and all of us… you have to be able to laugh at yourself, and she makes me giggle. This is a girl I hope someone pays for.”

Jenner continued, “I wish I was her manager because I want her to make a lot of money for whatever she does. She is cute.’

Kris’ name has also been mentioned in several songs over the years, and was most recently referenced in Megan Thee Stallion’s song, Hiss, which was released earlier this year.

The singer could be heard rapping: ‘My p***y so famous might be managed by Kris Jenner. He can’t move on, can’t let it go.’

Other music artists have also used the star’s name in songs, such as Drake with his 2016 song titled 4pm In Calabasas. “See Kris Jenner, I beep twice and I wave,” the text read.

“I don’t know how I got into all these rap songs over the years,” Kris said jokingly.

“Depending on the lyrics, they’re quite flattering. I think my grandchildren will get a kick out of it as they get older. So it gives me at least 10% coolness as a grandmother.’

Later in the magazine interview, Jenner discussed turning 70 next year and revealed whether she had done anything big before the milestone.

“I don’t have that one thing on my bucket list,” she admitted. ‘I don’t want to jump out of a plane or anything like that. I just want to stay healthy.’

“And I know this sounds like a cliché, but when you get to this age, that’s what you pray about every day. Please God, keep me healthy. That’s all that matters.’

Earlier on Tuesday, Kris hopped to her main Instagram page to celebrate being named Woman of the Year for Los Angeles Magazine.

She uploaded a photo of the cover where Jenner looked effortlessly chic in a white suit and black and white colored heels.
