Disgusting act leaves neighbourhood up in arms and a mystery woman with a very unsavoury nickname: ‘Krapping Karen’
A neighborhood is in turmoil after a woman was caught defecating in a stranger’s backyard.
The middle-aged woman, dubbed ‘Krapping Karen’, was caught with her pants down by an angry homeowner in Sydney.
Frustrated after discovering feces in their garden, the homeowner installed CCTV cameras.
They posted a message on a tree outside their home with a photo and a message addressed to the phantom pooper.
‘ATTENTION LADY?!’ read the message.
‘Please stop pooping in my backyard! My grandchildren play there! It’s disgusting! This is not the first time! Thanks to you I have cameras everywhere! So please stop!’
Another concerned resident shared the post on Reddit.
“Quite a strange poster on a tree,” the caption read.

Social media users were quick to blast the woman with a photo that nicknamed her ‘Krapping Karen’.
“She’s a runner,” one person wrote.
“This is very common: when you wake up, you take off your sneakers and go for a run in the middle of nature, then you stop for a strategy session and then you’re on your way again.”
“I honestly understand it as a one-off, but more than that, you have to look at yourself and think ‘seriously?’ a second wrote.
‘WTF is wrong with people?! Serious!’ another added.
‘Or at least remember to take dog poop bags with you. It’s not that they are expensive. Some parks give them away for free!’ a fourth wrote.
Another claimed she was a ‘good friend of the Paddington poo jogger’.
This was a reference to the infamous 2019 ‘Paddington Pooper’ case.
PR expert Roxy Jacenko shared shocking CCTV footage on Instagram of a woman defecating outside her Sweaty Betty PR office on Watson Street in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

She twice uploaded videos of the woman running behind a car, pulling down her pants and relieving herself.
“It’s disgusting, it’s a beautiful street full of historic terraces, children playing and cycling,” Ms Jacenko later told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Human feces should not be on any street. Something has to be done.’
In 2020, a jogger was caught on CCTV defecating in a community garden at the edge of the street, just 50 meters away from a public toilet in the inner-city Melbourne suburb of Albert Park.
There was another case in Marrickville in Sydney’s inner west the same year where a note was attached to a fence: the note read: ‘Dear mysterious human pooper, we have installed this fence and a camera to hand over to the police.
‘We understand that Covid is hard on everyone, but please stop complaining about our garage.
‘Also make sure you chew your food better. Whatever’s making it sticky, I’d get that checked.”
In NSW, defecating in public is covered by the Summary Offenses Act – offensive behaviour.
A criminal trespass notice may be issued, which carries a $500 fine.
Depending on the circumstances, the police may also charge the perpetrator.
A NSW Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia they “will not be making any statement regarding phantom poopers”.
