Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter Penelope, 10, recycles her $3.5k Chanel handbag as she steps into NYC a decade after the star wore it
Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter Penelope Disick recycled a handbag from her famous mom’s closet when she stepped out on Sunday.
The 10-year-old looked chic in a gray coat with yellow lining, which she paired with black boots and a matching dress.
She was accompanied by her father Scott, 39, and cousin North West, nine, as they departed the five-star Ritz-Carlton in New York City.
But it was her Chanel Hula Hoop bag in bright yellow that caught the attention of fans, as her mother was spotted wearing the $3,590 (£2,866) accessory in 2013.
Scott had father duty as him braved the chilly East Coast weather in a tan puffer jacket, black t-shirt, beige pants and black sneakers ahead of Monday’s Met Gala.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star — who also shares sons Mason, 13, and Reign, eight, with Kourtney, 44 — donned a maroon hat and some shades of black for the outing.
Scott — whose ex-girlfriend Sofia Richie married music executive Elliot Grainge last weekend — rocked his usual scruffy beard and carried a blue water bottle in his hand.
Scott and Kourtney’s relationship ended in 2015, after nearly 10 years together. She is now married to Bling-182 drummer Travis Barker.
Kim’s daughter North wore a black leather top with trendy oversized black ripped jeans.
She accessorized with a black Chanel bag and belt. The budding fashionista also wore sunglasses from the brand.
Kim shares North and daughter Chicago, five, and sons Saint, seven, and Psalm, three, with ex-husband Kanye West, 45.
The star will attend the 2023 Met Gala despite initial rumors that she may not be invited.
Kim and all her sisters attended the gala together in 2022.
There were reports that boss Anna Wintour was tightening up this year’s guest list and that there were no Kardashians on the list, but it was later reported that Kim was invited.
The Met Gala, formally called the Costume Institute Gala or the Costume Institute Benefit, is an annual fundraising gala attended by the biggest names in entertainment and fashion.
It is held to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.
Regular attendees include Lady Gaga, Rihanna and designers such as Marc Jacobs.
Since 1948, stars have ascended the majestic staircase to a very exclusive party where no selfies are allowed.
This year’s theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, honoring Chanel’s longtime artistic director who passed away in 2019.
