Gomez said, “I accidentally over-laminated my brows” in a TikTok story, showing followers how her brow hairs stuck up a little more than usual.
Soon after, Jenner posted a picture of herself with the words “this was an accident???” unmistakably written over her own eyebrows. and was seen on a screenshot of a Facetime conversation with Bieber, which also showed off her eyebrows.
The fallout saw Jenner lose a million Instagram followers, from some 380 million to 379 million fans on the site.
The alleged battle happened to be around the same time Selena surpassed Kylie as the most-followed woman on Instagram.
Both women responded to the allegations saying there was no feud.
The Wolves singer and the Kardashian/Jenner family appeared to be trying to mend the alleged rift with the help of the younger generation.
Selena’s younger singer Gracie, nine, made some homemade pasta with Kylie’s niece, North West, nine, in a series of four TikTok videos.
While Gomez and Bieber posed together for photos at an October 2022 event, in February 2023 Hailey was rumored to make fun of Selena in a TikTok video, she claims.

Last week, Gomez shared that Bieber reached out to her and said she wanted to put an end to all the hate.
“Hailey Bieber contacted me and let me know she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,” she wrote.
“This is not what I stand for. No one should experience hatred or bullying. I’ve always advocated kindness and really want this all to end,” Gomez concluded.
Bieber thanked Gomez for speaking out on her behalf in an Instagram Story post for her fans.
“I want to thank Selena for speaking out as she and I have spent the past few weeks discussing how to get around this ongoing narrative between her and me,” Bieber began.
“The past few weeks have been very difficult for everyone involved and millions of people see so much hatred around this, which is extremely damaging. While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create extreme divisions instead of bringing people together,” she continued.
“Things can be taken out of context or interpreted differently than intended. We all need to think more carefully about what we post and what we say, myself included. At the end of the day, I believe that love will always be greater than hate and negativity and that there is always an opportunity to meet with more empathy or compassion,” Hailey concluded.
