Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker shock diners in Bondi Beach with a surprise visit to a popular burger joint during Sydney visit

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker surprised locals in Bondi Beach this week when they made a surprise visit to Bonditony’s Burger Joint.

The reality TV star, 44, and her rock star husband, 48, touched down in Sydney on Tuesday ahead of Travis’ band blink-182’s Australian tour.

The couple flew Down Under with their son Rocky, three months, and Kourtney’s daughter Penelope, 11, and son Reign, nine, who she shares with her ex Scott Disick.

Shortly after arriving in Australia, Kourtney and Travis decided to take a tour of the popular beachside suburb and try some local takeaway.

Bonditony’s Burger Joint shared a photo of the famous American couple passing by on Instagram on Wednesday.

Posing for a Polaroid photo outside the eatery, Kourtney looked stylish in a cream coat with black stitching as she pouted and flashed the peace sign for the camera.

Travis cut a casual figure in a white T-shirt and black pants as he wrapped his arm lovingly around his wife’s shoulders.

The venue’s owner, Tony Gosden, couldn’t help but share his surprise that the megastars stopped by for a visit in an accompanying caption.

He wrote: ‘Never thought I’d see Travis Barker and Kourtney at Bonditonys! But I guess everyone needs a little BT goodness, hahahaha.”

Elsewhere during their visit to Bondi Beach, the couple also stopped to pose for photos with enthusiastic fans as they walked into vegan cafe Funky Pies.

American pop-punk band blink-182 have returned to Australia for the first time in seven years for their epic world tour, which kicks off in Perth on February 8.

The trip also marks Kourtney’s first time in Australia since 2013, when she and sisters Khloe and Kim brought over the Kardashian Kollection, and her first major international trip with her son Rocky, who was born on November 1.

blink-182 last toured Down Under in 2013, but Travis did not join the band due to his fear of flying, which stemmed from being a passenger in a fatal plane crash in 2008.

Brooks Wackerman, of Bad Religion and Avenged Sevenfold, filled in on the sticks.

Travis has credited “the power of love” from his wife Kourtney for helping him overcome his fear of flying.

He said his partner “healed” him and his children after the crash in South Carolina 15 years ago, in which he was one of only two survivors.

He told the LA Times: “I think the power of love really helped me. Kourt got me flying, my kids fly now. She healed us.

‘Every time I fly, it takes a little piece of my life. The amount of stress and anxiety it causes is simply unbearable. It brings up all this old trauma, and sometimes I think, ‘Is this worth it?’

‘But I also don’t like anything having a hold on me. I don’t like to be afraid, and I don’t like things from my past determining my future.’

Travis shares children Alabama, 17, and Landon, 20, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. He is stepfather to Shanna’s daughter Atiana de la Hoya, 24.

On flights, Travis puts on noise-cancelling headphones so he can’t “hear the landing gear retract,” listens to guided recordings from an energy healer, and prays for loved ones he’s lost.

In August 2021, Travis successfully took his first ride on a plane for the first time in 13 years when he flew to Cabo San Lucas with Kourtney.

In September 2008, Travis boarded a private jet in South Carolina to head to Los Angeles after a show, accompanied by his friend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein, his security guard Charles “Che” Still and his assistant Chris Baker.

As the small plane tried to take off, one of its tires blew, causing the plane to overshoot the runway, burst through the airport fence and over the nearby highway, eventually crashing into the embankment on the side of the road. .

The pilot, Sarah Lemmon, and co-pilot, James Bland, died within minutes of smoke inhalation and burns when the plane burst into flames on impact, according to the Chicago Tribune. Still and Baker were also killed in the collision.

Travis suffered third-degree burns over 65 percent of his body and had to spend three months in the hospital while he underwent skin grafts and 26 surgeries to repair the damage.

After the crash, Travis was overcome with debilitating fear, even at the sight of an airplane.
