Kourtney Kardashian faced criticism on social media after she failed to mention ex Scott Disick in a Father’s Day post paying tribute to her husband Travis Barker.
‘Happy Father’s Day @travisbarker!!’ Kourtney, 45, captioned the post, which featured several photos of the Blink-182 drummer, 48, holding their seven-month-old son Rocky in his arms.
Kourtney said in the caption, “Beyond grateful for the father you are to our baby boy and all our children. You keep us safe and protected and take care of us. Having a family with you is heaven. I’m happy to celebrate you!’
Kourtney and Disick, 41, share three children: son Mason, 14, daughter Penelope, 11, and son Reign, nine. The eldest of the Kardashian sisters welcomed son Rocky Thirteen Barker, her first child with the musician, last November.
Some of Kourtney’s 223 million followers were quick to remind Kourtney of Disick on the festive day.
Kourtney Kardashian, 45, faced pushback on social media after she failed to mention ex Scott Disick, 41, in a Father’s Day post paying tribute to husband Travis Barker, 48
“Um, where’s the shoutout to the father of 75% of your kids??” one user asked, while another asked, “What about Scott??”
Another user told the reality star, “I find this so disrespectful that you didn’t get your other kids involved with Scott… He’s the father of your three other kids, in case you forgot about him and them.”
One user said: ‘He’s a father to other children, you know that right?……right?…..’
Some users felt that Kourtney made a mistake by not including photos of her three older children in the slideshow.
One said Kourtney “only cares about Rocky, not the others,” while another said, “Notice none of the photos are of him and her other kids.”
One user said they were “gutted” that Kourtney had “a change,” and called Disick “a good dad.”
Not all social media responses to the post were directed, as one user said Kourtney did nothing wrong by dedicating the Father’s Day post “to her actual husband… the one who did [marry] her.’
The user said: ‘My goodness, I see a lot of you are asking about Scott in the post as if she should acknowledge him at all.’
