Kourtney and Travis revealed to the world that they are expecting their first child by recreating a famous scene from his band Blink-182’s music video for All the Small Things at one of their concerts in June.
Reality star Kourtney, 44, stood in the crowd with a sign that read: ‘Travis, I’m pregnant.’
However, it turns out that momager Kris got the big news – which came after the couple struggled to conceive – when everyone else thought she was being pranked.
In a preview of this week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, her sister Khloe Kardashian said, “My mom found out on the news. She wasn’t very happy.’
Chris then added: ‘I thought I was a punk.’
In the current series of the Hulu show, Kourtney didn’t get along so well with her family, arguing with sister Kim Kardashian and deciding not to go with them on a family vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Meanwhile, last month, Kourtney underwent emergency surgery that saved her unborn baby’s life.
After she said she felt “lucky” that the unspecified problem was discovered while she was having an extra follow-up session that women in the US don’t routinely get.
Kourtney told US Vogue magazine: “The experience opened my eyes to a whole new world of pregnancy that I didn’t know about in the past.
‘It was terrifying. After learning that insurance usually only covers two ultrasounds when you’re pregnant, I had no idea.

“I’ve always been lucky enough to do more than what insurance covers, and it was one of those ultrasounds that saved my baby’s life.”
Last month, as Kourtney documented the ordeal online, she shared a black-and-white photo of her and Barker holding hands.
It was accompanied by a heartfelt caption: “I will be forever grateful to my amazing doctors for saving our baby’s life.”
“I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from the tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock.” And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.’
Elsewhere in the conversation, Kourtney – who endured rounds of IVF before conceiving naturally – said she felt “pressured and pushed” into infertility treatment and that it went “against her intuition”.
When the couple took a break from IVF, they conceived naturally, and the star said: ‘It was an indescribable feeling. Shock, then super-happy, followed by fear, worry, but then I remembered to be grateful.’
The star also admitted she is ‘obsessed’ with pregnancy as she counts down to the due date with her fourth child.
Her pregnancy news it came more than a year after Kourtney ended her IVF journey, which left her with a flurry of health problems, including depression.
On an episode of Hulu’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians at the time, Kourtney said she was “taking a break to just focus on our wedding and the wedding.
She also admitted, “We would love a baby more than anything, but I really believe in what God has in store for us.”

She also said she had “seven frozen eggs from years before Travis” – a step she took when she was close to 40.
“When I was 38 or 39 everyone was pushing me to do it and most of mine didn’t survive the thaw because the eggs are single cells and none of them made it to the embryo,” said the eldest Kardashian sister.
“All the things that came with IVF affected me physically. My health is still affected because of the hormones. And it also took its toll mentally,’ she said.
“So I think the most important thing is to just be happy and be a good parent to your kids.” We just accept that whatever is meant to be, will be.’
