Kourtney Kardashian ‘gives birth to her baby boy!’ Reality TV star, 44, and husband Travis Barker, 47, ‘welcome their first child together’ after ‘terrifying’ fetal surgery to save the child’s life

Reality TV siren Kourtney Kardashian has reportedly welcomed her baby boy.

People has reported that the reality TV star, 44, and her husband Travis Barker, 47, have welcomed their first child together, citing sources.

DailyMail.com has contacted a representative of the family for comment.

It’s been a long road for the famous couple as they spent two years trying to conceive the baby.

Kourtney tried IVF several times and didn’t get pregnant until she finally stopped all treatments late last year. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians veteran has said in the past that she feels like getting pregnant naturally was “God’s plan.”

The POOSH founder also suffered a scare: in September she underwent ‘terrifying’ fetal surgery to save the life of her unborn baby.

This is the fourth child for Kourtney, as she already has three children – Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, eight – with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, 40.

And it’s a third child for Travis, who shares two kids – Landon, 20, and Alabama, 17 – with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 48. The rock star also considers Shanna’s daughter with former boxer Oscar De La Hoya – 24 – old model Atiana De La Hoya – his child.

In mid-October, she told Vanity Fair Italia that she had become pregnant naturally after two years of failed IVF attempts.

“I’m just saying, how can you question God’s plan? Because that’s how I see this pregnancy, which came when both Travis and I weren’t even thinking about it anymore and a year after we stopped IVF,” she said.

Kourtney revealed last December that she had officially stopped her IVF journey 10 months earlier after she said it had left her in a deep depression, among other symptoms.

Her pregnancy has not been easy. In September, she had a terrifying experience when she had to undergo fetal surgery to save the life of her unborn son. Travis flew home from his tour to be by her side.

The star also said: ‘It was terrifying. I feel like sooner or later I’ll go into details because I hope it can help others, but I don’t feel ready yet because it was really scary.”

The POOSH founder announced her pregnancy news to the public in mid-June while Barker was performing on stage during his concert. She held up a sign that read, “Travis, I’m pregnant.”

It was a nod to the band’s iconic music video All The Small Things, in which a similar sign appears.

After catching a glimpse of his wife’s message, Travis jumped off the stage, walked over to her and the pair shared a passionate kiss.

She later confirmed the news on her Instagram Story by sharing a video of the surprising reveal.

Kourtney and Travis started dating in late 2020 after nearly a decade of friendship. They made their relationship Instagram official in February 2021 and were engaged in October.

The couple married in May 2022 at a courthouse in Santa Barbara before jetting off to Portofino, Italy a week later to have a lavish wedding at the Dolce & Gabbana mansion in front of their friends and family.

Kourtney has been open with fans about her attempts to conceive a child with Barker through in-vitro fertilization.

In 2022, Kourtney first detailed her struggle with IVF on Hulu’s The Kardashians.

In the episode, Kourtney was at her home in Calabasas when mom Kris Jenner came to visit and asked how the doctors were doing, to which Kourtney replied, “Terrible.”

Kourtney revealed in a confessional that their doctor “guided them down this path of IVF, and it wasn’t the most amazing experience.”

She also claimed that the “drugs they gave me put me into menopause, literally into menopause.”

Along with the Kourtney said it also sent her into depression and caused weight gain.

“I think because I’m so clean and careful about what I put in my body, it’s like I’m having the opposite reaction and acting as a contraceptive instead of helping us,” she told the audience at the time.

‘I have everything in the world to be happy about. I just feel a little strange and not like myself. Super moody and hormonal, like I’m crazy half the time.’

In December 2022, she confirmed to fans that she had officially stopped treatment ten months earlier and was only just “getting my energy back.”

She said The Wall Street Journal that she was “taking a break to just focus on our wedding and getting married” – which took place in May 2022.

In the season three premiere of The Kardashians, the POOSH founder further discussed their choice to quit IVF and how she froze her eggs in her 30s.

“We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us,” she explained.

Kourtney had “seven frozen eggs from years ago before Travis” that the people around her had forced on her.

“When I was 38 or 39, everyone pushed me to do it and most of mine didn’t survive the thaw because eggs are one cell and none of them made it to an embryo.”

Kourtney was always aware that “freezing the eggs is not a guarantee” that she would become pregnant.

She told her sister Khloe that she and Travis already “have a full, blessed life” without a child, so they didn’t let it get them down.

‘Everything that came with IVF took a heavy toll on me physically. My health is still affected because it is hormones. And it also took a toll mentally,” she explained.

“So I think just being happy is the most important thing and being a good parent to my kids. We just embrace that what is meant to be will be.”

Kourtney previously said that motherhood is her “favorite role in life” and that it “gives me purpose.”
