Kodei Mulcahy who claims he was married to Peter Hitchener has three new arrest warrants issued

Three more arrest warrants have been issued for a notorious celebrity stalker who was allegedly involved in an ugly opening night confrontation with entertainer Rhonda Burchmore and bizarrely claimed he was married to beloved Melbourne newscaster Peter Hitchener.

Kodei James Mulcahy, 23, of Werribee, was scheduled to appear in Werribee Magistrate Court on 26 unrelated charges of harassment and assault on Thursday, but failed to appear.

It’s the second time police have been forced to issue arrest warrants for the aspiring celebrity, who last month claimed Hitchener refused to pay him support after their alleged divorce.

The serial plague, which Daily Mail Australia revealed has been haunting celebrities since he was a child, was due to appear in court on multiple matters, including unlawful assault, speeding and multiple allegations of harassment and breach of restraint warrants.

Mulcahy, who continues to publicly deny facing charges, was already out on bail when he was due to appear in court on Thursday.

“Actually, I don’t have any court battle going on,” he told his Instagram followers on Jan. 23.

The full extent of Mulcahy’s alleged wrongdoing is unknown, and the magistrate refused to grant Daily Mail Australia access to court documents.

What is known is that Mulcahy is facing a number of ‘indictable offences’, which can carry prison terms upon conviction.

Mulcahy was issued a warrant for his arrest in August after again choosing to walk out on his court date.

However, he did not spend a night behind bars after turning himself in to the police over the next few days.

Just a few days ago, Mulcahy took to his Instagram account to brag to his 680 followers that he was once married to the newscaster.

Sources inside Channel Nine have told Daily Mail Australia that Mulcahy’s repeated claims about Hitchener are completely false.

“They are a figment of his imagination,” the source said.

Arrest warrants have been issued for the ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ hopeful, who posted videos of himself cooking from the height of rubbish. He also says that he hates cooking.

In four poorly produced videos apparently filmed at his kitchen table, Mulcahy is seen pretending to be a ‘semi-celebrity’ who enjoys patronage from companies like ‘EveryPlate’ and ‘Hello Fresh’.

Mulcahy posted the videos as part of a bizarre attempt to get the attention of the producers, not MasterChef, but Celebrity MasterChef.

“As much as I hate cooking, which is funny, I mean, look, the Daily Mail…I could write a nice little article about it and I could hook up with Celebrity Masterchef or something,” he said in a video.

Each of the videos shows the top half of Mulcahy rambling while preparing food that viewers cannot see.

“You have to let us see the actual cook,” one of the few people who saw his video posted.

In a video, Mulcahy discussed his plans for the future.

‘My pledge for 2023 is all about health and wealth because you know, single now. My husband won’t give me money,’ Mulcahy complained.

He told his followers that “nothing was off limits” if they wanted to ask him questions, none of which subsequently came up.

“Nothing is off limits when it comes to the Daily Mail articles, my marriage to Peter Hitchener, nothing like that,” she said.

Kodei James Mulcahy claims to be associated with high-profile kitchens

Daily Mail Australia revealed in July last year that Mulcahy claimed to have married and then divorced Hitchener.

An Instagram page on which Mulcahy posed under the name ‘Kodei Hitchener’ has since been shut down.

Mulcahy, who ran for a Wyndham Council position in 2020, told Daily Mail Australia that she was unable to discuss her alleged marriage to Hitchener after making a deal with Channel Nine not to.

‘I keep what I post in my instagram,’ he said.

Mulcahy claimed then that he was not aware of his pending matters listed at Werribee Magistrates Court.

“I have no knowledge about that,” he said at the time.

Mulcahy dismissed suggestions that he was a celebrity plague.

“If celebrities are scared of me and I’m a stalker, why do people contact me to help them with their social media pages?” he said.

‘I have constant contact with many celebrities. I don’t stalk them. They invite me to shows exactly like them.

As a teenager, Mulcahy was embroiled in a scandal involving the theft of Real Housewives Of Melbourne star Gamble Breaux’s $25,000 Logies dress.

Kodei James Mulcahy goes on to claim that he was married to newscaster Peter Hitchener. She even used her last name.

Kodei James Mulcahy is known for taking photos with unsuspecting celebrities as they walk the red carpet.

Burchmore reported Mulcahy to police last year after a run-in with him at the Melbourne Arts Centre.

Burchmore had been attending the premiere of 9 To 5 The Musical with her husband when Mulcahy allegedly approached her outside the venue.

Daily Mail Australia has been told Mulcahy left with her tail between her legs after Burchmore told her to leave her alone.

Mulcahy maintained that he had been friends with the theater star until recently.

Burchmore would later be granted an intervention order prohibiting Mulcahy from approaching her.

He took to Instagram at the time to allege that Burchmore was the assailant.

Burchmore, who had been appearing in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of hair sprayhe told Daily Mail Australia that he reported Mulcahy to Victoria Police over the ugly confrontation.

‘I am deeply upset by this matter and have made a police report on Sunday. I have left the matter in his hands now and I hope this stops this absolute psychopath,” he said at the time.
