Natalia candidly told the publication that she goes through life with an open mind and channels Kobe’s famous drive and work ethic.

She said part of her mantra after the deaths of her father and sister was “understanding that there is no expectation that I should have for every stage of life.”

The student added, “I just need to know that I have to keep learning because there is no end point.

“You just have to keep pushing and be the best person you can be and soak it all up like a sponge… The job is never done.”

Natalia currently lives in Los Angeles, where much of the city has street art in memory of Kobe and Gigi.

When asked if it’s a challenge to see their faces all the time, she said, “Honestly, no. I like seeing the murals.

“Every time I see them while I’m driving around, I think, ‘Oh, okay.’ They feel like special gems.’

Natalia is studying film at the University of Southern California – a subject she and her father were both very passionate about and often bonded over before his death.

The student debuted her first film last month – an achievement that made mum Vanessa Bryant extremely proud – and has since said she is interested in becoming a director after being inspired by the likes of Sofia Coppola and Greta Gerwig.

But Natalia also has a lot of success in the modeling world.

She landed a modeling contract with IMG in 2021 and has since posed for a host of major brands.

When discussing walking her first Versace runway last September, she said she was “completely terrified” before the adrenaline rush hit.

Natalia, who has a host of famous friends including Taylor Swift, Timothée Chalamet, Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham, has since interned at Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and helped create visuals for the Renaissance tour.

Building on her success in both fashion and film, the rising talent shared, “I enjoy being in both worlds. They both work together and you meet so many different people.’

‘What I’ve always loved about film is that it’s such a collaborative art form and I look at modeling the same way.’

Natalia tragically lost her father and sister Gigi, the NBA legend, in a horrific helicopter crash on January 26, 2020.

The plane flew from Orange County to Ventura County, California for 13-year-old Gigi’s basketball game.

Everyone on board, including Kobe, Gigi, six family friends and the pilot, was pronounced dead after the plane crashed into the side of a mountain about 30 miles (48 kilometers) from downtown LA.

The incident sent shockwaves around the world and left his millions of fans, as well as his teammates, friends and family members, completely heartbroken.
