The New York Knicks ‘acquire Josh Hart from the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Cam Reddish, other players and picks’… as trade surprises Hart’s college teammate Jalen Brunson

The New York Knicks made a major move to acquire Portland Trail Blazers forward Josh Hart just hours before the NBA trade deadline hits.

Hart will move to the Knicks in exchange for a protected 2023 first-round pick and small forward Cam Reddish, according to ESPN.

Guards Ryan Acidiacono and Svi Mykhailiuk, who have played fewer than 15 games this season, were also included in part of the deal.

Woj’s report also says that if the first-round pick doesn’t air this year, the Trail Blazers would receive four future second-round picks.

Hart, a Maryland native, joins the Knicks after averaging 9.5 points and 8.2 rebounds in Portland.
