A mom is overjoyed after saving nearly $300 by coming across a “massive” sale at her local Kmart.
Holly, from Hobart, promised her husband that she would only buy new towels for the household when she left in the morning.
Little did she know she’d come across 12 brand new must-have buys for just $71.50 — when they were originally worth $366 combined.
The mom managed to get her hands on two cross-back chairs ($6 each, down from $79), small storage containers ($2.50 each), and a ceramic pink fruit bowl ($3, down from $9). .
Holly also scored a handy tray for $6 — perfect for storing various kitchen containers or as a table holder.

Parents will be thrilled to know that the mother got her hands on two heavily discounted toys for her son.
The first purchase was a Paw Patrol “All Paws” gift set containing 10 figurines of beloved characters for just $15 when it originally retailed for $45.
The Paw Patrol toy was discounted because one figurine was missing and therefore incomplete.
Holly’s second purchase for kids was a pink Transformers 86 action figure that cost $3.50 – instead of $32 – because the box was damaged.
Holly’s husband was also happy that she bought the couple a new white vaulted nightstand, where she saved $29 with two storage shelves ($10).
An educational purchase, Holly grabbed two professional anatomy models of the respiratory system and teeth ($6 each) to teach her child biology.
