Kmart iced coffee maker Australia: why everyone is talking about this summer purchase – and whether it’s really worth it
Shoppers are in an uproar over a brand new iced coffee maker ($39) from Kmart – while thousands claim they have been waiting for it for years.
The brand new purchase comes after the retailer’s previous success with budget espresso machines.
While thousands are tickling their hands on the popular machine, the product is sold out both in stores and online.
“This is absolutely perfect for summer – it’s so quick and easy to use,” said a Sydney coffee connoisseur.
However, not everyone is satisfied with the iced coffee maker; several claim they returned it shortly after purchase.

Ella, a shopper from Melbourne, recently posted an honest review of the product.
She showed the process of unpacking the machine and brewing the coffee in one video.
‘This is so good. I’m going to make one every morning for the next two weeks,” Ella said. “It’s going to save me so much money; it tastes the same as the $7 iced coffee I buy every day. Delicious.’
Others were also impressed with the coffee maker.
“It’s such a bargain and it’s better than me spending almost a hundred dollars a week on coffee,” said one.
“I just saw this online and it’s sold out everywhere – I’m so upset,” another added.
“The coffee isn’t as good as cafe coffee, but it’s fine if you have to stay on a budget,” one woman wrote.
But others simply warned coffee lovers to stay away.
“It tastes like sh*t – I’m probably going to take this back,” said Kmart shopper Rach after posting video review – and many agreed with her.
“You can just use a regular coffee maker, it just pours a shot of coffee,” one person said.
“I’m definitely not buying this,” said another. ‘It’s a filter coffee maker. I’m surprised they’re trying to pass this off as an iced coffee machine.”
