The brand new $18 Kmart buy described as the ‘ultimate 2025 staple’: ‘It’s perfect’

Fashionable Australians are whispering about a new $18 Kmart purchase that has been compared to designer versions worth thousands of dollars.

The Woven nylon carrying bag has been quietly released onto shelves across the country – and it’s already proving hard to find.

The trendy bag resembles versions from Prada, July, New Look and Asos, which range in price from $44 – $3,250.

The comfortable design measures 35.5cm x 13.5cm with a depth of 29cm and has a generous 119cm shoulder strap that is removable and adjustable.

The woven accessory also features smooth handles and a zipper at the top, making it the perfect accessory for both meetings and commuting.

Thanks to its spacious design, it is also popular as a baby bag for parents.

Although the black option is a timeless choice, the bag is also available in a navy blue ‘sky captain’ shade with beautiful brown straps.

The latter is reminiscent of bags from Mango, H&M and Beymen New York.

It’s not the only Kmart purchase making waves this week, as the department store continues its rise in popularity into 2025.

On Monday, a new storage hack caught the attention of thousands of people when shoppers used a budget-friendly set of $3 space-saving hangers to instantly declutter their closets.

The four-hanger pack is designed to hold multiple items vertically, reducing bulk and freeing up valuable closet space.

Originally $5.50 but now on sale, the hangers promise to be a game-changer for those with overcrowded wardrobes.

TikToker Jordy Kilgour put the purchase to the test and shared a video of his wardrobe transformation.

Jordy, who admits to buying multiple versions of the same shirt, was impressed with how well the hangers streamlined his closet.

“This is so cool – it’s clearly a win,” he declared.

The hangers have also received five-star reviews from Kmart customers who swear by the handy gadget to keep their cupboards neat and tidy.
