However, Kmart Australia has come up with a simple solution for just $5, with shoppers calling it a ‘must-have’ summer essential.
The beach cup holders are in stores just in time for the warm weather.
What makes the product so popular among beachgoers is its simple design that allows you to keep your phone, keys, wallet, sunglasses and other trinkets all in one place.
There is a point at the bottom of the cup holder, making it easy to stick it directly into the sand and keep your cool drink upright.
The cup holder has two compartments: a round compartment for your favorite water bottle for emotional support, and a bridge-shaped compartment that provides the perfect place for keys, phones and other items you don’t want to lose at the beach.
The holders are available in different colors, such as pink, orange, teal and black, making them easy to spot in the sand, so you never lose track of your personal belongings.
Shoppers have expressed their excitement about the new product, with many describing it as ‘genius’, ‘smart’ and a ‘must buy for the beach’.

“It will be like a moth to a flame to thieves,” agreed another.
But many disagreed, saying it’s a “great” product for keeping small personal items in one place on the beach, especially for parents with small children.
To keep thieves at bay, one customer suggested hiding the cup, along with the keys and phone, under a beach towel to keep them out of sight.
