Kmart has stunned shoppers by launching a popular European product. Australians were eager to get their hands on it.
Many have found ‘secret’ stashes of Essence Cosmetics purchases at their local Kmart stores ahead of the holidays.
Essence is a German makeup brand best known for quality products at low prices.
The brand has become extremely popular in Australia recently – with the lip gloss ($4.50) being the third best seller at Priceline in 2023.
Claudiafrom Melbourne, shared her joy in a video: ‘I don’t want to worry anyone, but Kmart has a secret.
“I’ve discovered many cheating exes in the past through purely private research – and now I’ve discovered Essence boxes in their crates.”
Claudia discovered “lots of different products spread throughout” her local store.
The customer purchased a lip balm and lip oil from Kmart.

Claudia also found a $17 gift pack with five products that she thought were “perfect” for a teen gift.
The Essence box of fun comes with different products depending on the version you purchase, but customers have reported receiving nail polish, beeswax lip balm, lipstick, lip oil, mascara, and more.
“I don’t think you understand how much I love Essence,” she said enthusiastically.
Others in Brisbane and Sydney have also reported finding Essence products in their local stores, but they are not yet available online.
Many customers have given the brand’s famous mascara five-star reviews, saying it delivers better results than products costing two or three times as much.
One wrote: ‘My eyelashes are so beautiful and thin that it’s hard for me to find mascara that gives me such great volume.
‘This mascara is so nice! It was easy and it delivered flawless results at an affordable price.’

Australians were thrilled to discover their favorite budget makeup brand at Kmart.
“I love Essence – their mascara is my favorite,” said one.
“I’m so excited: you can get Essence at Priceline too, but it’s always sold out,” wrote another.
“The brand is so cute and girly,” one shopper wrote. “I feel like a pre-teen!”
One woman added: ‘I need a different room for all my make-up products.’
