Kmart Australia shoppers rave over ‘cutest’ kitchen appliance yet – and it’s just $39: ‘I need one!’

Kmart fans are going crazy over a sleek new mini air fryer that some are calling the Best Buy of 2024.

Australian fashion stylist Islah Palmerbehind Instagram account kmart fever, shared the news about the ‘fantastic’ find that has already sold out in stores across the country.

“Kmart has new mini air fryers, they’re literally $39,” she said in a video.

‘They are so cute and very beautiful and there are many different settings,

“I saw this today and I’m actually going to buy one.”

The compact appliance has a stylish light green colour, a capacity of 1.2 litres and features eight preset cooking menus for extra ease of use.

The temperature can be set from 80 to 200 degrees Celsius, with a timer from one to 30 minutes. In addition, the pan has a non-stick coating for easy cleaning.

The ‘cute’ air fryer is already a bestseller and boasts excellent five-star reviews online, with many more people singing the praises of this handy cooking gadget.

“Best thing I’ve ever bought. It cooks meat and chicken beautifully. I love it,” said one.

‘I live alone and it’s absolutely perfect. It fits everything I need,’ added another.

Australians said the ‘fantastic’ air fryer was ideal for people cooking for one. They said it heated food perfectly and made very little noise, unlike larger models.

Many added that the small, lightweight appliance was used by FIFO workers and people on camping trips, as a cheap and easy way to cook without a kitchen.

Some said that a small air fryer, despite the ‘cute design’, was not practical.

“Why would you even need a mini, I have a 10L and would go for a 20L,” someone said.

However, others felt that the compact size was more suitable for those with less space in the kitchen but still wanted to cook smaller quantities.

One Kmart fan who couldn’t wait to get his hands on the new appliance said he didn’t plan on using it in the kitchen.

“I’m going to buy this for my bedroom,” she said.

It comes after the retailer launched a $69 pizza oven with a 31cm ceramic stone and variable temperature up to 300 degrees Celsius for “perfectly crispy” pizza bases.

“This is your cue to add Kmart’s new pizza oven to your cooking routine,” said one enthusiastic customer.

‘Thanks to the knobs, you can cook longer at a lower temperature. It is quite expensive these days to heat the bottom perfectly with wood, so it is a matter of calculation.’
