Kmart Australia launches budget buys that look just like Dinosaur Designs versions worth $300: ‘It’s a must’

Kmart Australia has dropped a range of cheap homewares that look just like a designer brand's version worth hundreds.

Shoppers love the new white resin jug and come from the budget store for just $12 each.

They say the style looks nearly identical to Dinosaur Designs' $280 Spinestone Jug and $100 Serving Bowl.

The stylish white resin jug and matching bowl are the perfect addition to Christmas tables and look high-end without the high price tag.

Not all shoppers were convinced, however, pointing out that the Dinosaur Designs versions are made in Australia with better quality materials.

Mama Ash, who is behind the popular Instagram page Bargain Life and Style, shared the dupes and sent fans into a frenzy.

'Dinosaur Designs is so damn exxy! We're running to Kmart for these dupes!' said one video.

“Just got my mom a $280 Dinosaur Designs vase and now I see this,” wrote another.

“Definitely a must have,” a third wrote, with a fourth adding: “Omg!!!! Love, I was looking at the Dinosaur Designs brand today and this is amazing.”

One woman said the bowl and pitcher also look exactly like Freedom's Pesce range, which retails for between $17 and $62 on sale.

But some corporate identity enthusiasts took issue with the designers who said the Kmart version looked 'cheap' compared to Dinosaur Designs.

“Dinosaur Designs is probably the better option,” one viewer wrote.

“Mannn, they'll make everything cheaper,” another complained.

“No, no Dinosaur Design dupes, I'm so angry,” a third replied.
