Australian shoppers are praising an ‘anti-spy’ iPhone screen protector from Kmart for its affordable price tag and innovative design.
The $8 product received rave reviews on social media because it keeps viewing eyes from seeing the screen on the side. It also protects against scratches and dust.
One customer bragged about the purchase on Facebook and highly recommended it to others.
“So I got a new iPhone [and] I wanted to buy a privacy screen protector for my phone,” the customer wrote.
“I went to different phone stores and they charged $45 plus to put one on, I just went to Kmart and found them for $8 and you have all the stuff you need to put it on yourself!” FOR YOUR INFORMATION! For anyone who wants to do it.’

Others thanked the customer for sharing their honest review, and a few were unaware Kmart sold the product.
“At $8 each, it’s worth it. I bought the expensive ones and they crack the same as the ones from Kmart. I’m not mad about having to spend another $8 for a replacement,” one person wrote.
“I got mine from Kmart before the price goes up for $5. Works great and I’ve accidentally dropped my phone a few times but no cracks visible – win!” said another.
‘Even better on Amazon. You can get a 3-pack for about $12,” a third wrote.
Others refused to spend more than $20 on a glass screen protector.
But one woman claimed she noticed a difference between Kmart screen protectors and alternatives.
It comes after the department store relaunched its hugely popular heated blanket in stores just in time for winter.
The Sherpa Heated Throw has been described as ‘elite’ by customers who have already got their hands on the affordable purchase, which acts as a cheaper alternative to regular heaters.
The bedspread, which cost just $39, quietly returned to shelves and shoppers bragged about their purchase on social media.
Sophie from Sydney quickly bought the throw last week, calling it ‘the best money she’s ever spent’.
“Honestly, go to Kmart and buy one of these heated sherpa throws. I’m so cozy,” she said in a TikTok while wrapped in the blanket.
