Kmart Australia shoppers go wild over new $79 cleaning gadget: ‘I urgently need this’

Kmart Australia has sent shoppers racing after releasing an affordable and conveniently designed cordless spot cleaner.

The $79 product can be used to clean carpets and rugs, car interiors, stairs, fabric upholstery, and more.

The budget retailer demonstrated how purchasing works in a video on TikTok, where shoppers were eager to buy.

“This is the best way to keep your home spotless,” one woman said in the clip.

‘It’s wireless, lightweight and super easy to carry. You simply fill it with water and a low-foaming cleaning agent.’

After I used the product to clean a beige sofa, the water turned dark gray after all the dirt had collected in the material.

It is also the perfect alternative to spending thousands of pounds on expensive cleaning equipment and can be used thoroughly on stains or stains.

As the stain cleaner is still new, it has yet to launch on the Kmart website, but is available in stores.

The video quickly caught the attention of others, many of whom were intrigued by the product.

‘No way! Awesome,” one person wrote.

“Seriously, now you’re releasing a wireless version when I just bought the large corded version a month ago,” another added.

A third customer wanted to know when the product will be available in New Zealand. Others tagged friends in the comments.

However, one professional cleaner disapproved of the budget purchase.

“Another problem that arises when stuffing upholstery, rugs and the rest that comes with DIY home appliances,” the cleaner wrote.

“The problem is that it’s a great idea, but not nearly practical because it doesn’t have strong suction and will definitely leave the materials wet and eventually become smelly and moldy and damage some types of materials.”

Others encouraged shoppers to invest in alternative products rather than buying a cheap spot cleaner from Kmart.

“You’ll get a thousand percent better results with a cheap Bunnings wet/dry vacuum cleaner and a spray bottle,” one person wrote.

“Weak suction – use a professional company and strong commercial equipment,” said another.
