Kmart shoppers go wild over controversial $25 item that’s ‘perfect’ for Christmas
Kmart Australia has launched another product that’s flying off the shelves just before Christmas – and the $25 purchase is sure to provide hours of entertainment.
The new must-have in question is a portable karaoke machine with a Bluetooth speaker and a wireless microphone.
A customer spotted it on the shelf during a recent store visit and couldn’t resist sharing the ‘hot buy’ on social media.
“Stop what you’re doing, I just found the coolest karaoke machine at Kmart,” she gushed in a TikTok video.
“It’s going to be so much fun this summer.”
The microphone and speaker also light up, making it an instant crowd pleaser for kids of all ages.
“This is the best gift,” a fellow shopper agreed.
“I need this,” said another. “It’s so cheap.”

“I thought I was done with Christmas shopping, but my daughter will love this.”
However, many others agreed that the ‘controversial’ purchase would likely drive parents crazy after a few hours.
“Not sure if this is better for your best friend or your worst enemy,” one woman joked.
Other shoppers had suggestions to improve the purchase before December 25.
“I need this but with two microphones so siblings can play together,” said one.
The purchase has been a huge success since it was announced, with the microphone being called a ‘magical voice changer’.
The device can be connected to music via Bluetooth, a USB stick, a flash card and a headphone jack.
The microphone, which has several settings, should last about three hours on a single charge.
Those who want a dual-microphone device can choose from two alternative options at Kmart: the Disney Double-Frozen Karaoke Machine for $69 and the LED Karaoke Party Speaker for $59.
