Netflix fans hail ’10/10′ sci-fi movie directed by a BAFTA-winning actor and praise legendary footballer’s surprise cameo
Netflix fans have hailed a sci-fi film directed by a BAFTA-winning actor as ’10/10′ and praised a surprise cameo from a football legend.
The Kitchen, which hit the streaming service earlier this month, was directed by Daniel Kaluuya and featured a brief appearance by Ian Wright.
Rapper and Top Boy actor Kano led the relatively unknown cast of the film, which debuted at the British Film Institute in October 2023.
Kano, 38, plays Izi who lives in a dystopian future with Benji (Jedaiah Bannerman) in London, where all social housing has been eliminated.
The friends fight to navigate the world as residents of the Kitchen, a community that refuses to leave their home.
