Kirk Norcross shows the first results of his hair transplant and admits that he is already ‘very happy’

Kirk Norcross has revealed the first results of his hair transplant after undergoing the procedure earlier this week.

The former TOWIE star admitted that while he is in “a lot of pain” right now, he is already “so happy” and much more “confident” in himself.

Taking to his Instagram on Tuesday, Kirk revealed his bandaged head and encouraged fans not to “judge” him, admitting it was “a work in progress.”

The star also insisted that she hadn’t undergone the change because of ‘anyone but me’ and while her appearance still ‘bothers her’, she is ‘working on it’.

Appearing with a big smile on his face, Kirk said, ‘What’s going on guys? Now I’m back!

Big change! Kirk Norcross has revealed the first results of his hair transplant after undergoing the procedure earlier this week.

I’m a little sore. Look, don’t judge me, it’s a work in progress, okay, and I’ll look like this for a while, but don’t mind me. [sic].

‘I’m a skinhead! They’ve kept it very natural, so I’m very happy.”

Speaking about his post-op status, he admitted he was in “a lot of pain”, adding: “I have a proper round head, don’t I? It’s like an egg.

Delving further into the details, he added: ‘I’ll tell you how it feels.

‘When I was a child and I had a proper fight with someone or you have been hit on the head so many times, do you really not know where you have been hit? Because your head is throbbing. That’s what it feels like. It hurts me.

Kirk also opened up a similarity in how he felt he “looked like” his late father with his new hair.

Kirk heartbreakingly discovered the body of his father, Mick, after he committed suicide on January 21, 2021 at age 57.

Opening up, the TV star said: ‘So, my dad, he used to have a skinhead.

“I used to cut his hair and the last time, on Boxing Day 2020, he said to me: ‘Do you have the hair clippers? Go out in the garden and give me a cut.’

‘So I shaved off my dad’s hair and it looked like this, you know? So that’s a good thing, I really feel like I look like my father, which makes me happy.

Assuring fans that he made the change for the right reasons, he explained that “I haven’t done this for anyone but myself.”

He added: ‘My hair made me feel uncomfortable. And I always tell people: if someone wants a job done, think first.

Is it because of how you feel about yourself or how you want people to feel about you? Because if it’s because of what you want people to think of you, don’t, okay? Do it for you.

“This will make me happy and make me feel more comfortable in my skin.”

Wrapping up his video updates, he expressed his thanks to his followers.

He said: ‘I just want to thank everyone who has messaged that my hair looks good the way it is now. Like a skinhead.

‘It shouldn’t bother me, but the appearance still bothers me. That’s one thing I’m really trying to work on: I’ve ironed out a lot of wrinkles in my life. But you know, looks and stuff get to me sometimes.

‘But yeah, thank you guys so much for giving me a bit of confidence today.’

Kirk’s procedure comes after he recently revealed that he called a drug dealer moments after finding his late father.

The TV star recalled how the traumatic ordeal led to a “massive relapse” back into his drug addiction, but he is now proudly sober.

Speaking to Daniel O’Reilly, who also goes by Dapper Laughs, on his ‘Menace to Sobriety’ podcast, Kirk said: ‘At the funeral I made sure I was sober.

‘I’m telling you, that’s how bad my addiction was, I was sober for months and months before my father died.

‘My father committed suicide and I found my father. The moment I said goodbye to my father, the addiction immediately set in.

I gave him a hug and a kiss and said goodbye, ran out of the house and called the drug dealer.

‘That’s the only thing that could have stopped me from wanting to kill myself. I had a big relapse.

‘You know what I don’t want anyone to commit suicide, but I respect my father’s decision for what he did: my father is very planned and calculated.

‘It was weird because the day my father died I became a man, I really did. It sounds horrible, but this would have to have happened for me to become a man, but I’m upset my dad didn’t get to see me become the man I am today, but that’s because my dad left, you know.’

Referring to Kirk getting emotional, Daniel says of his tears, “Honestly, dude, I think they’re tears of joy for yourself.”

Adds Kirk: ‘Honestly, I’m very proud of myself, I’m very proud. I have a daughter and a son, unfortunately I can’t see my daughter, but I hope that when she is older she will come to me, I am ready to be her father whenever, and I have a son who is my world.

‘I moved from Essex, my son lives an hour from Essex. I don’t know anyone where I’ve moved to, I’ve moved to Norfolk, not where my son is but about 15 minutes from my son, just to be with him as much as I can.

‘What you leave behind is pure discomfort and many questions. No one will get the answers to their questions because you are not there to answer them.

“If you tell people what you’re going through, they may not be able to help you, but they can hold your hand during that time.”
